Nah, he did better than Wlad did and Wlad had the best trainers money could buy.

I think he regresses under a new trainer. Like others pointed out he is who he is. He also beats every heavy outside of Fury/AJ so theres that.

His problem is his mentality. The Stiverne knockout went to his head and he thinks he can knock out anyone in a few rounds but the reality was Stiverne was a fat punching bag. Because this is in his head he was always trying to throw the knockout punch against Ortiz and Fury and ended up telegraphing everything. He needs to relax and try to land short, crisp shots first before loading up.

We still don't know about AJ and legally speaking he didn't lose to Fury.

I agree with you he has done great with what he has.

We've known this years ago. He said yesterday in the presser that his style "isn't going anywhere" so there you have it.

Exactly. It's funny how some people call him a bum, when Wilder on Saturday would have destroyed 99% of heavyweights out there.

i actually think deas and breland are good "boxing" guys...i think they know the sport...i think the only good thing that can come from a switch at this point is just to refocus and kinda kill any complacency

sometimes u can have good guys in someones corner..it doesnt mean they are gonna execute when they get in the ring...doesnt mean they wont revert to their instincts

He's nearly in his mid 30's now.

Is he really going to get that much better, if at all?
