The fight looked the way it did because Wilder hasn't learned ****💩 In 41 fights. And the final results were exactly the same reason they stole Lil G fight away from Jacobs. The knock downs.

Ggg Jacobs the rounds were more competitive, I had Jacobs winning personally but I can understand the argument for ggg winning, I can’t say the same about fury wilder, wilder was out of his depth against fury

Deontay Wilder won that fight. Tyson got a lucky draw. Skirted barely ahead on punch count and got floored twice. That ain't a draw. Being within twenty punches of one another across a 12 rounder is usually a draw anyway, but Wilder got those two KDs. Fury got the gift not Wilder.

A big group of people telling me any different won't make any more difference to me than if we were talking the plague and youse lot really believed in the prevailing "bad air" treatment of the time and were trying to save me with farts in jars.

Yeah....it's true....England once believed they could get rid of the black plague by farting in a jar and sniffing it when they took ill. Similarly to how they believe a 13 punch lead warrants a win after being knocked down twice and they are not being bias.....sure bubba....sure.

Btw Fury told in an Interview yesterday that he weighed 250 pounds on fight night. So this was actually his ideal weight.

Yeah I thought he looked fit and strong, certainly had more in the tank than Wilder. I meant that Fury would be sharper with his timing etc, coupled with the fact that he knows what Wilder is all about now.

A boxer always beats a puncher in a rematch.

There's more involved in getting back to top form than just hitting ideal weight, a lot more. Fury needs a while for his body to fully adjust and recover from that massive weight loss, and he needed a real competitive fight to test his reflexes and timing.

Fury wasn't the same as when he beat Wlad. He wasn't as well balanced, his feet were a little slower and his timing looked slightly off to me. If there's a rematch he'll be better, and I think he will stop Wilder inside the distance.

EVERYBODY had Fury winner. 100% of the people who saw it. Dan Rafael and some biased LDBC members don't count because even they had Fury winning but won't admit it. Dan hates Fury and loves Wilder and even he doesn't believe his scorecard.

Fury won easily and to think he's only just lost 150 pounds and started his comeback. He'd win easier next time out and probably by KO.

a little sympathy for Wilder

First off, I have a thread on here detailing what would happen in this fight before it happened... and I adore Fury....Have for a while now, since I saw real skills, a tradition where a man and his father and uncles engaged an activity in a way that men should conduct themselves, etc. Fury has always been a kind and strong individual and he went through hell and came out, been there is some respects myself, not with the same problems, but Fury has shown how men handle adversity and he has shown skills that only come with boxing in a family since being a youth.

With that said, put yourself in Wilder's position: First off, Wilder is also a kind individual. When he went after Charlie the troll, Charlie had said things about his daughter that were truly awful. Wilder showed incredible restraint and made it a teaching moment.

Wilder reminds me of Max Bauer in that, he does not like to harm people. His solution to this problem is to create an alterego. I think Wilder was somewhat unhinged leading up to the figtht because he likes Fury and had to step in the ring and try to harm him. I think this made Wilder angry at the world.

When you get that jacked up, have fought and been hit for 12 rounds, saw the fight slip away after you accomplished what you do in a fight... its tough to say "yeah the other guy won." No fighter that I can think of has been better than Wilder in this account. I well remember Holyfield against Lewis the first time, petulently saying how lewis should have knocked him out...

Wilder is basically a simple living, wholesome guy. He takes care of his family, including his kids, and is a lot more approachable when not being asked to try to go after his friends in the ring! Fury and Wilder have genuine love for each other. Love that comes with respect, mutual respect that only someone who has fought understands. It reminds me of when Joe Louis was financially bailed out by Max Schmelling.

So I am just glad that the fans weighed in, both men have the same IQ's they came into the fight with, and we had a great fight that established that regardless of size, we have skilled guys competing for the top of the heavyweight division. I look forward to seeing how Joshua handles this situation because he also has skills and is in the mix.

Draw, loss or knockout......pick your poison....

I was at eye level without any biased commentary to listen too. I had Wilder winning 1-2, 3 toss up, 4-8 Fury, 9 Wilder knockdown, 10-11 Fury, Wilder 12 knock down. You could argue Fury won, you could argue he lost because of the "slow count" in the 12th or call it a draw. But there was no robbery.

Wilder attacked Breazeale and his family with a large group of thugs who are his friends , theYre no different then his fan base . It is what it is, he has a history of violence and comes off a bully who makes everything about race which is not needed in the sport. I'm glad he lost, the only thing he kept was the belt ,we can't do anything about that but at least his ego was brought down a notch.
