it's not my excuse, it's rafael's own words.

rafael called fury the lineal champion on TV yesterday and constantly refers to him as lineal champion in all of his articles. when asked by a fan why fury wasn't ranked, rafael said he took him out after the layoff but that he still considers fury lineal champion.

youre sitting here saying rafael doesnt consider fury lineal, even though on a daily basis rafael says youre wrong.

who should i believe about what rafael believes? what rafael says he believes or what a random weirdo teenaged aj fan says rafael believes?

ring itself says youre wrong. read ring's decision to strip fury of ring. they flat out apologize for separating ring from lineal. they still refer to fury as lineal on a daily basis.

That's the thing with lineal. There's no set in stone rules. The Ring title is who the Ring believes is lineal.

None of the sites people use to keep track of lineal recognise Fury as lineal. CBZ and TBRB who many see as the official keeper of lineal records don't recognise him.

tyson fury not only retired, he was suspended for two years because of anabolic steroids. ballooned up to 400 f#cking pounds. that guy was the HW champion of the world?



lennox lewis could come back and be the lineal world champion under that criteria. when tyson fury got suspended [should have never even fought klitschko, truthfully,] he stopped being lineal champion. stopped being "around" if you will.

Fury lost that lineage when he said he was retired, didn't fight for 2 and half year and got banned for PED use.

Joshua is recognised as the #1 HW and will continue to be so after Saturday too.

He has the belts stripped from Fury. But Fury has the lineage and Wilder is the longest reigning champion.
