Now let's be honest, ALL titles are made up aren't they? Certainly none were handed down by God. AJ is certainly a very good HW fighter but can he defeat Wilder or even Fury? This is debatable and unless they all three fight each other fairly soon we just can't know.
You are calling me a liar?

Nobody is in charge of lineal. Not Ring before and not TBRB now. The public keeps track on their own. It's very simple. The man who beat the man. Everybody other than obsessive AJ fans refers to Fury as lineal champion. Fury isn't TBRB champion, but he is lineal champion and even Ring, which stripped him of the Ring title, admits that he's still lineal champion.
No. Sites like TBRB and CBZ keep track. They are run by boxing experts, something you're not and they don't recognise Fury as lineal. Non of the major sites recognise him as lineal. Only a ****** like you would argue they do, when all you have to do is look at their ratings.

No I'm just pointing out that you used a known debating technique in your statement. These type statements are used to cast shade on any who would disagree. Politicians, Clergymen and Lawyers do it all the time. So all I'm really saying is you have something in common with those three groups and we know they never lie, right?

boxingscene, espn, ring magazine and pretty much every major outlet refer to fury as lineal champion in every article from every writer. you lost man. you wanted fury stripped, a few agreed with you, but the news outlets disagree with you.

fury beat klitschcko. he hasnt lost since. he said he was joking about being retired. in his absence #1 refused to fight #2. fury returned quicker than many past lineal champions.

klitshko's lineage lives on through fury. there's no debate about that. he's the man who best the man. not aj.

Just stop the lying anyone is welcome to click on the ESPN and Ring rankings and see they don't have him lineal. Other popular sites that keep track of lineal like CBZ and TBRB doesn't have him lineal either. These are facts, no made up spinning bs like you. You're a bs artist and a terrible one.

the espn rankings are rafael's personal rankings. not a panel. they only do a panel for p4p.

rafael refers to fury as lineal champion in every article he writes. he also stated in his chat that fury is lineal champion, but that he doesnt have him in his rankings due to inactivity.

Cliff Rold (the author) is not the guy to do that. He has a good record writing articles for BScene. I think he brought up more than enough evidence and historical examples to make his point that being the Lineal Champion means something. You can argue that it doesn't mean much to you today, but he's saying that historically it has meant the most in the most historically (and undeniably) important division: Heavyweight. I don't see any flaws in his logic, and I thought it was interesting to read a detailed history of the importance of Heavyweight Lineage. That's my two cents.

Fair enough but today it isn't as important as it used to be.

ring title and lineal title are two completely different things.

stevenson and fury were stripped of ring title, but ring continues to recognize them as lineal champions. two totally different things.

youd know the difference between ring and lineal if you werent a teenager who started watching boxing because of AJ.

He's been active for over 6 month. Fury still isn't lineal on their ESPN site. That excuse doesn't work. Try again
