The rankings sites are dis*****g it if they don't recognise him.

Lineages end and new ones start. Fury's ended. Just like Lennox Lewis's did. Just like Mayweathers did when he retired for a couple of years.

He accepted a backdated "ban" once he was ready to come back. None of which had anything to do with the fight he won the lineal title in, nor any fight where the lineal title was defended.
He got banned for being a ****ing cheat. Lineal champions lose the status when they say they retire. Mayweather lost his status when he took a 2 year retirement.

You aren't even a fan of boxing, you admitted it, of course you don't know ****. You just fancy Wilder.

        Ranking sites don't determine lineal.

Ring rankings determine Ring champion, not lineal champion. Boxrec rankings determine Boxrec champion, not lineal champion.

The entire boxing world, except for obsessed AJ fans on the internet, agrees Fury is the lineal champion. He's the consensus lineal champion whether you like it or not. Stop being a hater. It's okay. AJ doesn't have to be the only fighter alive. Other fighters are allowed to exist.

Surely, the best is the man with the most. And at Heavyweight, that is Joshua.

I agree with you, but Fury quickly said he was just joking and the boxing world decided he was still lineal. If you don't like it, that sucks for you. I know AJ is very important to you. But Fury beat Klitschko before AJ did. And even if that makes you upset, it doesn't change the facts.

Sites like ESPN, TBRB and CBZ don't recognise him either. Boxingscene posted a thread the other day and the majority of posters don;t recognise him as lineal. He's not, no matter what they try to push down peoples throats.

The boxing world? Sites like ESPN, TBRB, CBZ? That don't recognise him.

Even if you search lineal champs it comes up with Wiki and Fury isn;t lineal anymore.

Oh really? ESPN doesn't recognize Fury as lineal champion? Weird. Because I watch ESPN all the time and they always call Fury the lineal champion. Same thing on their website.

LOS ANGELES -- Throughout the dealmaking process and the promotion of their fight, it is obvious that heavyweight world titleholder Deontay Wilder and lineal champion Tyson Fury like and respect each other.

ESPN recognizes Fury as lineal champion and constantly refer to him as such on TV and on their website. TBRB determines the TBRB champion, not the lineal champion. CBZ doesn't recognize Fury anymore, but CBZ has been overwhelmingly overruled by the rest of the boxing media.

Anybody can edit Wiki, including obsessive teenage AJ fans such as yourself.

ESPN, Ring Magazine, all the major newspapers, BoxingScene, etc all refer to Fury as lineal champion.
