As for Fury's "lineage" why was Fury not "stripped" of that for failing a drugs test?
Why would he be stripped for failing a test from a different fight before he became champion?

WTF is this article? Lineage is just a fairytale, means absolutely nothing in boxing. Smh. They try to push this fight really desperately paying for articles like this.

He is still lineal champion whether you like it or not. You're a punk kid crying on the internet. You have no say in anything.
Non of the major rankings recognise Fury as lineal. They print that crap because that's how they're promoting the fight. Wilder is going to have to fight Joshua to be viewed as the best/lineal.

Casuals don't give a **** about lineal, only who is the best. Boxing fans know Fury isn't lineal anymore, there's only Wilder and Fury fans desperately trying to hang on to it.

Because he got a two year ban.

I know you're a teenager and started watching boxing yesterday, but the "major rankings" have absolutely nothing to do with lineal. It's the man who beat the man. Period. Nobody is dis*****g that Fury is lineal except for obsessive Joshua fans.

Plenty of lineal champions have gone longer than two years between fights. If you weren't a teenager who started watching boxing yesterday, you'd know that.

He accepted a backdated "ban" once he was ready to come back. None of which had anything to do with the fight he won the lineal title in, nor any fight where the lineal title was defended.

Joshua may or may not be able to beat Wilder and Fury, but the winner of this fight will be proclaimed THE heavyweight champion of the world. Lineage does matter, the man who beat the man.
