Over/Under 97k buys this weekend for Wilder-Fury?

Those were primary US PPVs that UK picked up to show. What I mean is UK PPVs that have taken place in the UK. AJ/Wlad was a big PPV in the UK yet it was shown on regular Showtime. Brook/Spence, Whyte/Parker, AJ/Molina, AJ/Takam, Bellew/Haye and so on, have been Sky PPVs in the UK but shown on regular cable channels in the US or not even picked up. For gods sake, Brook vs Gavin was a PPV card. Any top fight that takes place in the US would be a PPV if it was in the UK.What do you mean by the last part? Like Mayweather/Hatton? That was a US PPV as well as UK PPV along with some other Lewis fights and Mayweather/Pac or Mayweather/McGregor etc. There hasn't been a UK PPV shown in the afternoon in America as a US PPV though...Or not any that I can remember. Is that what you were referring to?Comment

$75 for this fight is ridiculous. Watch them charge $120 or some bull**** if AJ/Wilder ever happens. I'll buy it because boxing is my favorite sport, but I doubt most people will. To have to pay $75 on top of the showtime subscription is pure greed, but showtime knows they basically have a monopoly now with HBO out of the game.Comment

Yeah, I'm a fan, not a boxing buisness guy. I'm worried about my pockets, not theirsOkay, so if it doesn't double the amount of buys then what incentive is there to make the PPV $40 bucks? With the high guarantees of both fighters, they need to maximize their revenues to break even here. Makes no business sense at all. Would it be better for the fans? Definitely, but I don't think the price point is the reason for the "lack of buzz" or "low PPV figures."Comment
