I'm actually trying to think of the last PPV I did NOT purchase lol.

One of the 30k that purchased Crawford vs Postol. Three PPVs in four months coming up, already have purchased Wilder/Fury, will purchase Spence/Garcia and who am I kidding, I will also be getting Pacquiao/Broner Ha.

As for the question, over, definitely over.
No, it wouldn't double it but it would certainly have people caving in more on fight night for 40 rather than 75.
I'd never pay 75 for this card but if I was bored enough on a Saturday night I'd drop 40 bucks on a PPV.

They overprice the S H I T out of these PPV. They all should be about 40 bucks IMO unless it's a mega fight .

Okay, so if it doesn't double the amount of buys then what incentive is there to make the PPV $40 bucks? With the high guarantees of both fighters, they need to maximize their revenues to break even here. Makes no business sense at all. Would it be better for the fans? Definitely, but I don't think the price point is the reason for the "lack of buzz" or "low PPV figures."

Shelley Finkle brought the finance to the fans with his press conference. He can't use the fans to try and manipulate more money for HIMSELF then expect everything to go away and the fans not to talk about it. Social media is like fire, treat it with respect and it can keep you eating, abuse it for personal gain and you might just get burnt.

but what does that have to do with people who are supposed to be boxing fans? how much money they make really has nothing to do with fans... I mean, everything posted here is negative, bashing fighters, bragging on ticket sales, hoping fights fail, hoping networks fail, dogging resumes, etc, rarely do you see an actual discussion about BOXING, ring IQ, tactics, strengths of fighters, game plans, etc. look at the threads its all BS. I get that fans have rivals but gee wiz its getting old.

They should have dropped the price and made it look like Wilder had demanded it to make less money so more of his fans can watch, when really the increased number of buys more than makes up for price change.
AJ isn't a PPV star here in the US. Can't compare UK PPV to US PPV. They will put any good fight on PPV in the UK while they're pretty much irrelevant in the US. 2 different markets, you think people would buy a Whyte/Parker PPV here? That fight wasn't even big enough for a network to pick it up.

In the US i'll be shocked if it does less than 100K, I'm thinking between 200-300K. If it does less than 200K it's safe to say it's a flop and a financial disaster. I think 300K is a solid number, not good but not awful either. Above 400K would be fantastic considering their low profile in the US.
I think in the USA it barely beats Ward Vs kovalev numbers. A smidge over 100k buys is my prediction.
