BT Sport has pissed all over Sky during this promotion. No filter boxing is better than anything Sky produces.

Boxing has too many belts and champions for casuals.

Wilder isn't fighting a SKY fighter and has a much bigger reach than BT. Fury/Warren/BT should thank Hearn/Sky for building Wilder in the UK.

Or how about you stop being an AJ/Matchroom/Sky nuthugger for once in your life and appreciate both networks?

IMO BT Sport for the Fury-Wilder fight has appealed to boxing fans, Sky Sports appeals more to football casuals who have a passing interest in the sport.

          Both are a good thing.

I walked around my super caucasian neighborhood yesterday and had 6 people ask me if I knew who Deontay Wilder was. It was weird.

How about you give credit where it's due. Sky did specials etc about Wilder to help build him in the UK and they didn't have to have him signed for a fight to do it.

Does the average man outside of England know anything about heavyweight boxing nowadays?

The interest in England (where I migrated from) is on another level. Here in Australia no-one I know could name a current heavyweight beyond possibly AJ. It's a dead sport. But my Facebook feed will be full of boxing talk from my English mates.

Not sure how the non English heavyweights think they have any commercial sway at the moment.

and then after fury walked off they say " who the he'll was that guy?"... boxing isn't that popular here which sucks. wish guys could get more exposure here. could you imagine if the US was able to do numbers like European nations? But sadly we can't do our part. fights on network tv only a couple million. continue keeping boxing alive and well there Europe. I appreciate you

I think as others have mentioned it is just the state of boxing as a whole here. I think all the bad decisions, the costs, the lousy fights have just made people lose interest. Especially in comparison to the other sports.
I did ask a few random people at a work conference in Manhattan if they would be watching the fight. Majority of them didn't even know it was happening. So maybe the advertising has been **** around the build up.

And people say the joshua fight has to happen stateside. If it happens stateside joshua ends up with his lowest earnings for years
