Can we quit hyping this up? The term 'big fight' gets thrown around too easy. Theres not much interest in it for a good reason. Its got a crappy undercard and a circus fight main event with someone who hasnt fought a top 100 heavyweight since he put on 10 stone. Wilder winning also does nothing for his resume, lets just make that very clear.
Wilder v fury isnt a big fight

I think it's interesting, and has the potential to be an interesting fight. It should sell OK - Wilder is the first American HW champ in decades and Fury knows how to make a circus of himself.
Having said that, Fury is vastly underprepared for this fight. He hasn't fought anyone in ~top50 in 2 years and was grossly out of shape 6-9 months ago. If he even makes it a competitive bought, it will be an amazing performance.
If he gets KTFO, which is wildly (pun intended) expected, I think he'll use it as a cash out and fade from the scene for a few years.Comment

What hype?
Honestly can't remember such a quiet build up to a Heavyweight title fight involving a Brit.
A little disappointing truth be told.Comment

Biggest fight since September, no?
I guess it depends how you define 'big'. Too soon to say if we're judging on PPV numbers, gate, but there is more interest in this among the casual fans I know than in any other 'you gotta stay up until 5am to watch' boxing event this year.Comment

The best opponent Joshua faced is a 41 year old Klitschko coming off a 2 year layoff. Tyson Fury beat a younger and fresher Klitschko in 2015. Fury is more motivated and in better shape now. Wilder will have faced better opposition than Joshua by the end of this fight.Comment
