It makes sense and I still only consider Kovalev to have one legitimate loss.
That said, I don't think one can be elite at his age after suffering such a KO as he did in the Alvarez fight. Let's see if he can prove me wrong.Comment

Could be. Or maybe the KO losses put a dent in his chin, stamina and confidence.
I remember how he handled and stopped a very game and durable Pascal twice. Why couldn't he do the same to Alvarez? Probably because he was then undefeated and full of confidence till the KO loss to ward...
because a 31 year old Kov and a 35 year old Kov are the same thing?Comment

He wasn't up on the cards but his effort wasn't pathetic either. Kovalev actually pushed the pace more in that fight and was more active. Then he made some mental mistakes like turning southpaw for that one instance and then turning back to orthodox. Mentally he broke down that fight more than anything.Comment

I feel like Ward caused him to burn energy being emotional ever during lead up to fight...He was doing alot of whining etc.Comment
