What I learned from the AJ thread last night.

If you have 3 belts and 21 fights you can’t ever be considered a duck no matter what.

Unless you’re Rid**** Bowe, who had 3 belts and 31 fights. He’s only considered the biggest duck in history though.

He has fought and defeated over twice as many legit top 10 contenders and champions as Wilder in half the number of fights. Go to ring magazine top 10 and see if you want. AJ has defeated Wlad, Parker, Whyte, Martin, and Povetkin for 5 top 10 guys or belt holders. Wilder has defeated only Ortiz and Stiverne for only two top 10 guys in 40 fights. That's why right now AJ is my champion not Wilder. Wilder is 33 years old to AJ's 28. AJ is the man anyone must beat to call themselves the best heavyweight in the world not Fury or Wilder.

Well Larry here's the thing he's only had 24 fights and compared to his peers in Klitschko, Lewis, and even... yes... wilder, he's accomplished quite a lot for being inexperienced and quite young for a super heavyweight.

Now I agree with you, there's a way to go yet, and I look forward to his next few years.

But while I don't expect him to be crowned a "king" or an ATG, i think the total DISRESPECT, he gets from a lot of people is ******ed, you can't criticise his resume at 24 fights or 28 years of age while holding up Lewis, Joshua and... yes... wilder as being next level by comparrison.

it remains to be seen if he can maintain his form, but so far in comparrison to them, he's doing very, very well.

You could call him a duck if you had any proof that he'd actually swerved wilder

truth is we don't, he keeps quiet and doesn't talk about these things, Wilder is the type of character who screams at the top of his lungs all the time.

If we compare who's shown willing to take more risks over the course of their careers it's definatley Joshua, he's never looked to be avoiding anyone

Wilder on the other hand we KNOW ducked klitschko, and he tried to stall the Povetkin fight as long as possible.

so going on prior form, and the fact it's one teams word against the other with no concrete proof either way, I know who i belive.

Multiple belts beat one. A guy doing more in half the time also out does a ten year pro who just is having his first PPV.

There is a huge difference bro. All bowe belts came in a single fight just like fury while AJ's belts came in 3 fights.

True but that list should be enough to show that he is proven at world level (at least compared to the current crop of heavyweights). To say he is unproven is quite frankly ridiculous

Multiple belts does not make you great, but as a rule of thumb it's better than having one belt, and even better than having no belts.

At the very least it shows a fighter's worthy of being taken seriously, but then on NSB that means little.

Don't also forget that losing and struggling vs journeymen like Salido and Linares isn't some creditable stuff.

                      C'mon bro.
