Fury is a very good boxer and quick for 6'9". It will be a tactical fight. Wilder is the biggest puncher in the HW division. Classic puncher vs boxer. WAR!

Speaking of awful balance; Not only is Fury knock kneed but he is also perhaps the most awkward, clumsy and uncoordinated boxer's ever. For a man his size he doesn't throw or take a good punch all that well either.

While, I agree that "the Bronze Bomber" may have a low work rate but at the same time he is a very accurate puncher as well. In addition, Fury, doesn't punch even remotely as hard as Luis Ortiz either.

King Kong is a boxer/slugger. All of his power is generated off the front foot. Fury's punches are more of the slapping variety. He is more of an arm puncher.

Also, there is just not enough snap or pop on his punches to even seriously threaten Deontay Wilder. Moreover, he hardly ever settles down on his punches for power because he is mostly fighting off the back foot.

In closing, Fury's knockouts usually come as a result of attrition; Where he wears his opponents down at short range with his superior size and punch volume.

So you're using a fight that Canelo drew and most people thought he lost as an example? Canelo could always box, had decent headmovement. Thats alot different from Wilder turning into Mike Mcallum.

He can't match the firepower of Wilder, as you say, but he's likely to be more accurate and he's got good ring IQ and awareness; unless you panic you can see Wilder's shots coming a mile away. I think people write off Fury's chances of catching Wilder with something heavy too quickly.

Your assumption that it's inevitable that Wilder finds him and starts catching him flush and he's bound to just go down and get KO'd as a result is not that realistic imo.

Fury might not have to match firepower to stop Wilder. Hes got a shaky chin himself. This time he gets hit at a range hes normally safe at. By a guy whos young enough to keep going consistently. Wilders balance is awful. He's low workrate. He will have respect for Furys power and reach.

There's no way Tyson Fury can match the firepower of Deontay Wilder's. Eventually, Fury gets broken down and then knocked out.

Oh, there's ways. A 6'-9" man has a lot of leverage and force when they quickly stretch out those arms with a fist. This fight can go many different ways. I'm thinking and pulling for Wilder, but Fury is always dangerous with that size. His "awkwardness" and "clumsiness" make it even more intriguing ... and dangerous. Wilder is awkward also, that is always part of his danger.

Should be a great fight. Kudos to the warriors!



PS - we can get good, big, HW fights when Hearn is NOT in the picture.
