Will be great to see a really really good smaller HW fight these lumbering SHWs. I guess you could point to Wilder, but with his size and his relevant strengths and weaknesses, he fights like a SHW anyways.
Haye was probably the closest we’ve seen, but I was never that big on him. His CW run was overrated, and despite being athletic and explosive he never had a great ring IQ, his lack of fundamentals hurt him once he had to fight bigger guys.
Usyk doesn’t hit as hard, but that might not be a bad thing. When Haye couldn’t knock the HWs out, he struggled. Usyk is primarily a boxer who work you out and take away your weapons, while finding a home for his own. If he can avoid expending too much energy in the first 6, his stamina and boxing brain over the back 6 would be a nightmare for the likes of Joshua and Wilder. Whatever the result it would be intriguing to see.
Usyk reminds me of Crawford in that he doesn't take unnecessary risks and will work and adapt until he cracks the opposition then finish it. I don't think he is as good at it as Crawford yet but it's early days. It's interesting to watch and see them crack particularly hard nuts but usually it's not appreciated and for most seem like slow fights that nothing happens for rounds. It also speaks a lot to confidence that they only commit when they know it will work. Crawford only threw 1 uppercut vs Benevidexzz and it was thrown at the correct moment to guarantee the win. Usyk stopped feinting and was especially in the corner quite "innacurate" then as soon as he got the window, feint, smash, game over. Maybe I am giving too much credit but I would rather hope not.

I think he is an average full sized cruiserweight who probably weighs about 210 to 214 on fight night like most other average sized cruiserweights do.When he fights heavyweights where there is no weight limit and he weighs in fully feed and watered I think he will weigh about 220 pounds. If he comes in much heavier than that he won't gain anything but he will start to lose speed and stamina carrying some extra fat around. A lean 220 pound boxer is a big man and really a heavyweight big enough to be the heavyweight champion of the world. Cruiserweight was invented for guys who could not quite make 175 but were too small to fight guys who weighed well over 200 pounds. The original cruiserweight limit was 190 pounds and the weight class made sense. When the weight limit got up to 200 pounds the weight class stopped making sense. Most of the best cruiserweights were guys plenty big enough to fight at heavyweight who squeezed down to 200 pounds with 32 hours to put weight back on between the weigh in and the fight. Every good cruiserweight eventually fought as a heavyweight because that was and is where the big money and prestige is at.

Maybe I'd revise my estimate of how heavy he should come to the ring down a little then... say 215 - 220. Dude doesn't want to be putting on too much mass I think.
His max weight all time was (100kg) 220lb around Christmas at his mom's house when he was smashing perogies. So that's 220 not from pumping iron but pumping cabbage rolls into his stomach.
So Im thinking of gets on the protein shakes and barbell diet he will be 220lb max.
He's definitely not a muscle bound guy genetics wise.
