Surprised if true, was expecting sellout

    • Boxing in the States has been on the decline for years. I’m not sure if LA was the best choice of location for this fight. I think Barclay Centre with a Polish flavoured undercard would have been better. Ortiz vs Kownacki or Ugonoh. Joyce vs Wach or Szpilka... Just my opinion...

      • What I am noticing here is a lot of hypocrisy. These same fans who claim that you are not a true boxing fan unless you support DAZN, Matchroom Boxing and all of Eddie Hearn's bullshit, would love nothing more than to see this fight tank.

In addition, these no good bastards are gloating at the fact, that the Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury fight isn't selling as well or as fast as it should. They are happy to see this promotion fail. What great Bullshit?

Then they have the nerve to say that if you are a PBC fan or don't support Eddie Hearn, Matchroom Boxing or their agenda you are not a real boxing fan. Well I have one thing to say about that. Goddamn you all!

As a matter of fact, I'll go one further and say that you and your mama both could go to Hell and kiss the crack of my ass. Now how you like that?

          Yiu mss the point gumbo.
PPV is 50% for comcast, time warner etc ...50% for HBO or showtime and fight promotion so that 50% is split between those two.
SkY get 50% and the fighters promotion get the other 50% in the uk.
They don't have a comcast taking out the pot 1st .
Apparently the cable company gets 45% and the network 10%, [source]. I also seem to remember reading that Hearn had negotiated a bigger slice of the revenue from Sky but I can't remember where I read it or find it on Google right now, so I may be wrong. And here Audley Harrison talks about how Hearn's model is a bit different from others in that the fighters are paid directly by Sky and then he just takes his commission from that, [source]

          • Lol...Silly Eddie and the red faced old man ought to try and sort their own panic booked promotion out for April ....what a pair of smash and grab merchants ...simply clowns , completely out of their depth. ...Just watch them fade and die as soon as they find the balls for 50/50 matches.....Get in there Cod eye's.

Bellew should be commended because unlike Joshua they have not been able to persuade the 'lunitc' (his own words) out of challenging Usyk of which I here they did try!

So April could be Del boy fighting Joshua at Wembley......lol.....silly fact is some of you mugs would buy it!

              • Dudes, these big fights in the US reach a fever pitch the day before the fight at the weigh in. We are 3 weeks out. US sports fans think 1 week at a time.

Canelo/GGG has no buzz going into fight week. Staples Center will be full and the PPV will do just fine.

                • They should have put it in NY where Wilder has fought the last few times. I would have bought a ticket.

                  • Truly this fight would have done better in the UK than the US. Imagine the numbers Whyte-Parker attracted
