Haha, well I don't know if it's a fact but at the moment, I feel like the "easiest" title shot to get for a Top 147lbs (who doesn't have a belt) is against Bud. I might be wrong but Bob seems intent to get Bud's some quality names going forward. A guy like Garcia who, at the moment is on the outside looking in on the Thurman-Porter-Spence situation, should be,imo, looking to make a fight with Bud.

Dynamite point of view, well thought out, great postBeating any or all three of those fighters does not make you elite. I guess there is this grey area between second tier/B-rate and elite, that a lot of very good fighters fall into for one reason or another. Whether it's timing, poor management, ducking, or just falling short on skill/ability versus the elite. For some reason Danny is just a hair shy of being an elite fighter.
That said, there are several interesting fights for Garcia that would still be lucrative--Brook, Broner, Mikey, Vargas, Horn, Berto. He had a chance to fight Pac a few years ago but turned down a career high $4M offer. He doesn't appear to be in any hurry to fight Spence or Crawford either. I don't think he ever mentioned Mayweather.Comment

Where is the line where the truly elite meet those who don't quite meet the grade? Depends on who you listen to, so the term Elite is subjective at best. Apparently there are only 2 elite WW boxers according to Arum, who did they beat to reach that level? Spence has beaten Brook and Peterson, while Horn is the only WW name on Crawfords record.
Garcia dropped close decisions to Thurman and Porter, which is nothing to be ashamed of really; and do the records of these 3 really pale in comparison to the only 2 supposed "elite" WW's?
Jessie Vargas is not too far behind them either, and Broner is extremely talented when he bothers to actually show some effort and not be a complete tool.
The Jury's out on whether Pac-man is still top class at his age, but if his fight with Broner gets made that should answer questions about both of them.Comment

Crawford wouldn't lose (IMO) to a fighter like Herrera.
Crawford wouldn't get embarrassed and barely sling a win against a late rallying Peterson.
Crawford wouldn't duck Danny, either. Let me know when Danny wants to fight Crawford.Comment
