Apparently some people are saying that a left hook to the body of burnett 22 seconds left of rd 3 was the catalyst for it all.

Even if it goes to a decision at that point i still had donaire winning 1 and 3.

By the way man some youtubers are saying that a left hook by donaire to the side of burnett 22 secs left in the rd 3 was the catalyst. Do you mind sharing your opinion about it?

Very happy Donaire won! Took a look at the scorecards and they where already cooking up a loss for him when he was carrying the fight, hoping he wins the turny to rub it in some more, but he’s clearly not the same fighter.

I had Donaire up by one. Heres the clip : seems that the hook was felt by Burnett because I often see boxers returning the exact same punch when they are hurt ; in this instance Ryan fired a hook of his own back at Donaire.

Heres another reason why Burnett blew his butt-cheek ; Ryan was landing some good right hands on Nonito, Burnett committed to it to bring about a favorable result ; ironically the opposite came about.

Donaire was gradually taking control when the injury occurred. Burnett had been stunned by several hard punches; he took them well, but was starting to realize that it wasn't a walk in the park.

It might have turned into a TKO win for Nonito, who surprised me a lot given that I thought he was completely shot.

Interesting that when Burnett fell down due to injury it was ruled as a knockdown by the ref. Is that a normal part of the rules or is it just a mistake by the ref? I've not seen this sort of thing happen before.

Damn now that i got a better look at it that looks like it hurts like hell. It's a blink-and-you-miss-it but when the shot landed burnett look like he grimaced and gritted his teeth. Whoever saw has an eye of an eagle. Anyway great job man and thanks for the gif and opinion.
