Those people who had Burnett dominating were not watching the fight well.
Burnett may have been ahead as he was landing more but Donaire was right in it and Donaire was landing plenty of clean, heavy shots. I was marginally rooting for Donaire and I certainly wasn’t feeling bad about the possible outcome.

I had bet $100 on donaire at +590 odds. Knew he would win this, but not like this. I'll take it tho

wtf...i expected donaire to be the one who'd get injured and be unhealthy after draining all that weight...

what a horrible way to lose your belt and your zero..

achilles has his heel, burnett has his spine disc.

Like I always said, Ryan Burnett is a bum. Burnett couldn't even get it done against a shot, weight-drained Nonito Donaire. You see why Ryan ducked Tete and dropped the IBF instead of facing Manny Rod, some of you said : but Run! He going to win the WBSS! you'll see! All I saw was Burnett getting his Cheeks-busted!

should be a rematch after the tournament. I'm sure Donaire doesn't take pride in winning this way.

While watching the fight I felt Burnett was winning the rounds but Donaire seemed to be catching him with some crisp hard shots and I felt like Donaire was going to ultimately win. Out of nowhere that back injury happens and Donaire wins. Tete didn't really impressed me in that first fight so who knows what happens next.
