What makes fans salty is their prediction turned out to be wrong and DAZN seems to be on an upswing. Pretty hilarious to see the meltdown.

Well there is no arguing Eddie looked like a dumb ass a few times during this DAZN hype, but ultimately I think its a move many would have taken & taken rightly. You wanna talk up your project. There is a solid argument he over talked it no doubt, but you gotta go somewhat big in an attempt to get some eyes on you, people watching & hopefully people subbing.

Its easy to sh^t on someone who failed to live up to their stated goal, but then again we don't know if that was even Eddie's true goal with all the sh^t he was talking either. We are only given incomplete information with all this promoter, platform & boxer sh^t. We can come up with perfectly shaped takes on what we see, but we are seeing maybe 10% of whats going on probably. Its fun to theorize on sh^t, but ultimately we are in the dark on 90% of the things going on cuz its all happening behind the scenes & is about so much more stuff that we have lil to no info or stats or details concerning.

My only problem with DAZN is I can't change the commentating language or pick which one i'd like to listen to. I'm in Italy and have to listen to the broadcast in Italian but I don't speak the language.

I like that my boy Usyk is on it and I want to see his fights. I'm hoping to get PPV level fights for this 10 bucks a month but if that doesn't happen i'll end up canceling it and maybe just getting it when they put on fights I like

I don't care if you want to watch DAZN

I haven't said whether I think it's good or bad. But not doing something because Wilder says so just shows the level of activity that goes on between the ears.

You can't poach guys from a manager as a promoter or network platform of some sort. Idk why people STILL keep talking like this.

DAZN can sign a PBC (aka Haymon) guy to their platform. Or anyone else can to. HBO had Jacobs. They will more than likely have him on DAZN now. Vargas is a PBC guy. Khan is a PBC guy & he's been with Hearn. PBC guys fought Bud Crawford a few times over the last couple years iirc on HBO. PBC guys fight all over & ultimately they are still PBC guys one could argue cuz Haymon managing you is one of the main things that make one a PBC guy.
true but there are "real" Haymon guys and then there are fringe haymon guys.

            that much is clear.

He's done two shows on DAZN

I thought the Chicago one was pretty cool tbh. Some good fights. It's not like every showtime even is awesome.

I'd argue Jacobs is a REAL Haymon guy.

I think Khan is a REAL Haymon guy.

I can understand saying that about Vargas & those few Bud opponents doe so solid point there.

Guess I was counting the AJ/Povetkin card. The Chicago card was his best

Yes I would. Go through my post history, I don’t ride any promoter unlike yourself

My biggest regret is when platforms draw their lines in the sand and refuse to work with one another. That's not good for the consumer in general or boxing in particular.

The various boxing networks need to learn to work together in order to provide the best boxing content ever. That is the major impediment in my view which is holding the sport of boxing back.

In the past it was easier to implement that strategy because there was only one American platform at the time and that was HBO. Therefore, the different promoters were forced to work with one another.

Currently the best thing going for the DAZN is the World Boxing super series and the Canelo signing. Matchroom Boxing is showcasing 3 cards in this month of November.

On the 10th (with Bellew /Usyk), On the 17th (with Jarrell big baby Miller for the Regular WBA heavyweight title) and (Denis Lebedev vs Mike Wilson for the WBA Cruiserweight World title) on the 24th of this month.

Golden Boy Promotions makes its debut card headlining Canelo Alvarez vs Rocky Fielding on the 15th of December with Matchroom boxing following that up with Whyte vs Chisora a week later on Saturday, the 22nd day of December.
