what makes fans salty about DAZN?

Increases exposure to the sport, cheap monthly rate, has a TON of events, has many top fighters, probaby on track to have the most fighters available.

Why does it bother so many on this forum?

    PBC vs ESPN+ vs DAZN.

    Haymon/PBC vs Bob/Top Rank vs Oscar/GBP vs Eddie Hearn/Matchroom

Pick your team for world domination because this is what's happening. Boxing fans are boxer fan boys and promoter fan boys and network fan boys.

Just the boxing culture we're living in. Those talking down about DAZN are fans of the other side.

It's just another thing for fans to hop on so naturally there will be people arguing with them about it, since there's nothing people CAN'T argue about in this place. if you see someone hyping something, you'll find another who is going to argue with him about it.

Look how many great boxers have haters on here. If you love boxing, there's no reason to hate great boxers, but they do it anyway. DAZN, with it's Hearn ties, is an easy target.

Lack of quality fighters. Matchroom USA, Golden Boy and most likely K2/360 do not have the rosters to support all the dates they will have. Not without serving up some massive duds at least.

Eddie Hearn openly said he was going to poach the PBC roster and that doesn't sit well with a lot of people. DAZN could flop but it won't right away so I actually hope Hearn does well. His problem is he has 16 US dates a year with only a handful of fighters. He should cut back his dates and put out a higher quality product.

As far as I'm concerned, anybody putting time, promotion & money into boxing is a great thing. Eddie Hearn pisses some people off but he's done awesome work in the UK & he's made a solid start in the US.

Most importantly DAZN/Hearn is great for fighters. They're getting paid more money & they're getting guaranteed regular fight dates. It was a great move for someone like Andrade, it would be a great move for inactive fighters like Tank and the Charlos too. I love that women's boxing is being given a lot of exposure on that platform too.

If DAZN does well then it means boxing does well so I don't understand why any boxing fan would wanna hate on it. Such a small time & short sighted attitude to have.

Obviously some push back as always, but the reception has been pretty incredible overall.

PBC and ESPN has the same problem in regards to dates and not enough fighters to fill them with.

On the upside the DAZN/Hearn guys are going to be extremely active because of this.

Big Baby last fight October next fight November.

Boo Boo last fight October next fight January.

Tevin Farmer last fight October next fight December.

Artur Beterbiev last fight October next fight December.

This is the best ways for guys to increase their drawing power.
