Jacobs just drew only 4,691 fans this weekend. And only 7K fans for his fight with Sulecki. And 6,921 fans the fight before that with Arias. Career payday was 1.75M can't draw fans in his own hometown. You will get a career payday offer of 2-3X more then you have ever made but your manager is already making money demands to Canelo and that you won't fight him if the money isn't right? I don't like the sound of that at all. Even B sides like Liam Smith made more money fighting Canelo then Jacobs makes. Jacobs signing with DAZN is contingent on Eddie Hearn's and Oscar De La Hoya's ability of getting Danny the Canelo fight for the right amount of money. If they can't do that then expect Daniel Jacobs to walk. However, the final determination all begins and ends with Al Haymon.

Canelo like Floyd before him offers EVERY opponent he faces a CAREER payday a payday that is literally multiple times greater then the money they can make fighting anyone else. That's the power of being the cash cow you have more money to offer your opponents. So Jacobs manager already knows it will be a career payday offer but is throwing out the qualifier unless the money is right when he knows the money is more then anyone else can offer Jacobs. When B sides start talking like this to A sides fight typically don't happen or don't happen right away. That's the fear myself and others are having today after reading these statements.

Currently, there no other fighters who are signed to exclusive contracts with television networks or online streaming services other than Saul Alvarez. Only the promoters are signed to exclusive contracts with the various platforms.
