Mikey couldn’t hurt anyone at 140 ? He dropped Lipinets and obviously Lipinets respected his power. As far as Broner he easily outboxed him he didn’t need to go for the kill besides Broner didn’t even allow himself to open for the kill

As far as Crawford /Horn . Horn was never a top tier WW he got a lucky hometown decision against PAC he isn’t elite and never will be so that isnt the best fighting the best

Vargas /Dulhorme is a best fighting the best it’s good fighting and fringe contender and the same goes for Beterbiev/Johnston , Whioe Beterbiev May prove to be one of the elites at 175 , Johnston isn’t anywhere near that conversation none of the those are best fighting the best

It’s clear you’re happy with avg fights but I bet you complain when the PBC guys fight those type of fights. I bet you complained about the Charlo fights even though those are better fights then Dulhorme/Vargas , Beterbiev/Johnston which are essentially free fights on basic cable that you don’t have to pay for

If Spence /Mikey gets made I’m down. Yeah Mikey has a huge mountain to climb but I view Mikey as having the most skill in the sport let’s see how he does . but I’d rather watch 2 prime undeafted P4P guys fight each other over Spence /Collozo and Garcia /Commey

Agree about PAC /Broner , I’m not even a fan of either and both are past their best and let’s be honest Broner was never great to begin with but you know AB will sell the fight . Minus the Horn robbery PAC only loses to HOF opponets but his scalp is for the taking at his age and his commitment to the sport .Sh.it Broner going against his idol is this going to be the fight AB doesn’t disappoint, I doubt it i expect him to get lit up or at least not be able to deal with PAC and stay inactive during the fight not letting his hands go. But there’s enough intrigue in the fight for me to purchase. PBC has a deep enough talent pool to stack a undercaRd so let’s see how it plays out

Duran didn't fight Leonard immediately after leaving 135 tho. He first fought like 5 or 6 times at 147, beat another great welterweight in Palomino and then fought Leonard.

Mikey's last fight was at 135 and now he's going to nose dive straight to 147 against one of the best guys at that weight, that's suicide. You saw what happaned to Rigo when he did that same ish with Loma.

Rigo was much older than Mikey! He was 37 when he fought Loma! Duran fought a few WWs, but nobody on the level of a Ray Leonard!

I don’t get it either , I usually just record a PPV and watch it when I get home at night like most other fights.

I don’t know to many people that actually follow the sport , Unless it’s a mega fight that attracts casuals like Lewis /Tyson , May /PAC , May/McGregor , Canelo /Cotto then my house is packed and I’m the one that has to supply everything for everyone. I Definitely get the short end of the stick

But it’s worth it sometimes when you have a whole house cheering for Manny PAC when he fought against Mayweather ( me and the GF were the only Mayweather fans ) and just seeing their disappointment after the fight was priceless after years of them talking sh.it

They said JMM and Pac were too small to compete at ww, too. Mikey beat the top rated guy at 140 rather easily. But the top 140 lber. can't fight the top 147 lber. That is a mismatch. lol.

These people are just haters, my friend. They hate Mikey for leaving TR. When he fought the top buy at 140 they said fighting the best at 140 was somehow a horrible fight, against a horrible opponent. He fights Easter- for a unification- and is slammed for fighting a "bum". He says he wants to fight Spence and they cry that Spence is too good.

They are just haters, plain and simple. If they think Mikey is going to win, he is cherry-picking and afraid to fight anyone good. If they think he will lose, they cry too. Let them cry. Let them hate. Real boxing fans love Mikey for daring to be great. He could be like Bummed and fighting guys outside the top 30, but he wants the best. And the best is either too weak or too good. He is either cherry-picking or committing suicide, no matter who he fights.

Let the haters hate and enjoy one of the few elite boxers who actually want to fight the best of the best.
