Let's not act like it wasn't Mikey pushing for this fight to happen, unfortunately for him he's got what he asked for.

And remember that same Brook defeated Shawn Porter, and Spence KOd that Kell Brook.

Dude I can't accept your logic. Porter is terrified of Spence and the evidence is blatant. Everytime they ask him about Spence he come out with excuses, lame ones too. There is NO world where Spence is to blame for that fight not happening, same for Keith Thurman.

You could argue he hasn't gone after Danny, but Danny has no belt and we all know that Spence wants to unify.

There is no GGG comparison. GGG was called out and straight ducked Ward and Lara with the high risk low reward excuses. GGG didn't even mention Jacobs again when the victory was clearly in dispute and a rematch was required to clear the air. GGG's team started making excuses for not fighting Charlo as soon as Charlo moved up and became his mandatory challenger.

Spence has only done that with Crawford, every other fighter he has called out and directly confronted and it is THEY who have made the excuses and avoided him. He's not to blame gtfoh with that crap.

I blame him for the Crawford situation though. He blatantly be making excuses to postpone that one.
We’ll just have to agree to disagree. I was super high on Kell until he took a literal career altering beating and was violently stopped. He was in the discussion as best (and I personally believe he could have been) but really, Thurman separated himself.

Porter is just a jittery guy with no particular charisma man leave him alone for sounding funny lol.

Thurman is excusable... if only because he doesnt fight and has been injured I guess.

But Mikey isn’t a belt holder and holds no real ww value, While Danny is an important player at WW.

The reason it’s GGGesque is because instead of looking up for challenges, he looked down two divisions. Throw a challenge out at Lara, Charlo, Hurd, etc.

Khan somehow thought he was ducked and fought Canelo. Idiot, but props

Kell Brook called out GGG because he wanted to outdo his rival. ******, but props.

Mikey can’t land the premier fight in his division? Calling out Spence.

Canelo just fought and beat the boogeyman and he’s looking up to set up more options.

Crawford was in a wasteland at 140 so he had to move up.

Lomachenko has had fo move up to secure better fighters.

Rigo moved up two divisions and tried to be great. Didn’t work and he was a midgit but he tried since his division wouldnt fight him.

Now I’m fine with one weight domination. Love it. But there’s *always* options and a cherry pick a division up is always better than one two divisions down. Set yourself up for options if you want to claim you’ve got none.

That’s why it’s GGGesque. He’s not helping his current situation at all and unlike GGG, Spence is much better equipped to fight 154 guys. Even if he were to choose a smaller one or a fringe contender like Trout or Smith. Start making moves. Be proactive.

Eventually, if everyone around is fighting and one is not...it’s just excuses we’re making to defend. And we’re reaching that point imo. So because of that, that’s why we’ll have to just agree to disagree. I don’t believe anyone is afraid of Spence. A 35er moving up is evidence.

And Floyd and Oscar won titles @ 154! Mikey can win a title @ 147 if he's an ATG! I'm glad he's going for it!

PBC has so many guys at welterweight and now they put him in with a lightweight just because Mikey rather wants to get knocked out by Spence than getting embarrassed by Lomachenko. Jeez.

Spence will get as much credit as GGG destroying Brook.

If he beats Errol Spence Jr., he's an ATG! 126+130+135+140+147 = ATG!
