That at least helps Mikey a lil. but depending how early it is he can easily add another 5 lbs before the fight.

I absolutely love the guy and his style but his lack of attempt to be great and putting his foot down is really off putting.

As great as Mikey is, Spence gains absolutely nothing or any sort of credibility from this. Why is he so okay to sit back and do this? EVERYONE is calling him out.

Highly disappointing especially with top guys in his division begging to fight him. Sure, those options are there after but I can’t say I’ll ever see him the same after. This is why as good as he is, a man who isn’t even active or fighting is still considered number 1 in his division.
I'll agree with you as far as Crawford is concerned Spence straight ducking him and won't even mention his name.

But everything else you said is garbage.

Danny has absolutely no intention of ever fighting Spence and the same goes for Keith and Porter.

Keith's Spence ducking is well documented, and Porter straight ducked a unification.

Before the wbc convention wbc present Sulaiman came out and made it clear that he saw no problem granting porter a unfication fight if porter made the request.

After the wbc convention the wbc ordered porter to make two mandatory defenses.

You know what that means right?

Porter didn't make the ****ing request even though he knew that Spence called him out and wanted the fight.

Now go back to Porter-Garcia post fight conference.

Porter, when asked about unifying with Spence, said that the wbc might have other plans for him and that if the unification fight doesn't happen neither he nor Spence should be blamed.

But common sense and the wbc historic record, and what Sulaiman said after that (about porter making the request) proves that Porter was full of shieet and just laying a nice, soft pillow for himself to land on after his duck.

The wbc has NEVER interfered with a unification bout in that way.

The wbc will manipulate, bend, and even outright ignore their own rules for the sake of a big fight, or a unification fight.

We saw them suspend all of Adonis Stevenson's mandatory obligations for years because they wanted to make sure Stevenson was available for the Kovalev unification fight. We saw the same guys bend rules and ignore rules to make sure Canelo vs GGG 1 and Canelo vs GGG 2 happen. They did the same in the Floyd Mayweather vs Maidana rematch situation when they ordered that Mayweather defend both his 147 AND 154 belt in that single welterweight bout, to make sure Floyd didn't have a mandatory obligation for his next fight, so that the Pac fight can be made.

So trust me, Porter is the reason Porter vs Spence is not next. Remember Spence called him out and outright said even though Mikey Garcia is a bigger name and therefore a bigger fight, that Porter is the guy he wants to fight.

Porter tried to use the wbc as a scapegoat, but Sulaiman gave Porter a way to make it happen, and Porter kept his mouth shut.

Porter and Keith, don't tell me about those clowns. Spence is absolutely NOT to blame for those fights not happening.

Danny won't fight Spence we all know that. He wouldn't even fight Porter until the wbc gave him no choice by ordering the fight.

But you're right about the Crawford situation. I doubt Arum is serious about making the fight, but Spence was supposed to call his bluff and didn't. He kept his mouth shut. He straight ducking in my book.

I'm a Spence guy, but I don't like Mikey for a PPV ... I understand both are PPV type fighters but ... Mikey is in way over his head. If it's even competitive I would suspect a fix. Paq and Broner for PPV is questionable to me also. I'd watch both fights on regular Showtime, but ...

This is a result of all the "streets" and division between promoters and networks. Kinda irritating ...

Spence has natural rivals at welter and super-welter. He should tell Mikey to beat some welters first. I'd rather see Spence fight Danny Garcia than Mikey. Mikey needs to fight in his lower divisions and cleanup.

Oh well ... that and 50C will get coffee.

Not worthy of a PPV and will flop badly!

Haymon is not putting his foot down as an “advisor”, he’s allowing his clients to suffer cuz he won’t make the tough decisions!

He should put major pressure on Porter to make the unification next, I thought they said Winner of Garcia vs Porter has to fight Spence next!

How do you allow your lightweight get the fight with your welterweight? Bad business decision cuz Mikey staying at 135 or 140 can potentially clean up those divisions and add more to his name and THEN build to 147!

Spence should’ve just moved up if no one at welter except a guy on a different network wants to fight him !

He’ll, didn’t Jarrett Hurd called him out? So why not fight Hurd but you rather fight a lightweight coming up? Spence deserves major flack for this and then he admitted he didn’t want the Crawford fight yet cuz he basically needed more fights!

              Smh, shameful stuff

More like GGG vs Canelo 2.0
mikey couldn’t hurt boner at 140 and Spencer is a huge 147. He won’t be able to even tickle him

Typical fans always complaining , crying if Mikey fights Spence , There’s worse things in boxing then 2 P4P guys in their prime fighting or crying if he fights Commey next because Commey isn’t a name and it’s considered a cherry pick
make the fights on sho. Why should I have to pay extra? DAZN and sho cost the sae. Those ain’t ppv fights

yoir honestly wrong. Especially when boner honestly already told Hearns he was making close to 3 mil a fight off ppv. Manny needs to pay his irs bill. He needs way more than 8 milly

Both are undefeated, former Jr. WW Champions, who haven't proved themselves at 147! Why is Mikey such a mismatch, but Bud is such an equal to Spence? Is it because Bud beat Horn and Benavidez? Seriously?
huh? Crawford started st 135 and topped out at 147. Spencer started at 147 and is huge for the weight. He will fight at middleweight and maybe higher before he retires. Crawford and Garcia are much closer in size
