First of all, how can there be an obvious B-side when it was a 50/50 purse split, with both fighters guaranteed $17.5 million a piece?

Second of all, how can Lewis be the obvious B-side when his PPVs were selling better than Tyson's at the time, Lewis got first billing on the fight, Lewis got to walk last, etc.

As for your question about whether Lewis had even been on PPV before that, he had already headlined some of the most successful PPVs in history and had been a PPV fighters for many years. Honestly, what you just posted is so embarrassing, you should be so humiliated by your ignorance, that I'm not going to be able to respond to you anymore.

But for you, the biggest ****ing idiot in the history of this site, who doesn't think Lennox Lewis had ever been on PPV before fighting Tyson, please allow me to list some of his PPV fights that took place before the Tyson fight, you absolutely ******ed piece of ****:

LENNOX LEWIS vs ANDREW GOLOTA (HBO PPV)

EVANDER HOLYFIELD vs LENNOX LEWIS (HBO PPV)

EVANDER HOLYFIELD vs LENNOX LEWIS II (HBO PPV)

LENNOX LEWIS vs MICHAEL GRANT (HBO PPV)

LENNOX LEWIS vs DAVID TUA (HBO PPV)

HASIM RAHMAN vs LENNOX LEWIS II (HBO PPV)
Take it easy man, but thanks for clarifying

I said by the time they fought, Lewis had been selling better on PPV than Tyson. The most recent Lewis PPV before LEWIS-TYSON outsold the most recent Tyson PPV before LEWIS-TYSON. The 2nd to most recent PPVs for each, Lewis outsold Tyson as well.
And I said that was a lie , Lewis never outsold Tyson. Lewis had trouble filling arenas forget PP v because without Holyfield or Tyson he wasn't a draw.

Tyson sold that Lewis fight not Lewis, nice try though. Both Holyfield and Tyson got Lewis big PPVs.

Tyson vs Golota sold 450k, Lewis vs Rahman sold 460k. Are you not aware that 460 is more than 450?

It was a 50/50 purse split. 17.5 million each. In reality, there was no B-side. Technically, Tyson was the B-side as his name was listed second. The fight was titled LEWIS vs TYSON, not TYSON vs LEWIS. It seems you don't understand what B-side means.

Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko Purse Payouts (Confirmed)

Joshua and Klitschko will share the £30 million slice with 55% going to Joshua and Klitschko taking home the rest 45%.
That was a speculative article.months prior to the fight. The actual purse was split down the middle anyone can check that at Bloody Elbow Klitchko vs Joshua purse salary which was revealed the day before the fight. Again nice try!

I didn't say anything about B sides, however Lewis can't sell without Tyson. You seem to lack any common sense on here and are fighting with yourself when anyone who knows boxing understands Tyson was the A side that's why the fight didn't happen in 1996 because Lewis was begging for more money and Tyson went with the other draw Holyfield.

Bloody Elbow admitted they simply took the info from The Mirror. The Mirror was wrong though. It wasn't 50/50, it was 55/45, which not only was widely reported, but I was also told that directly by Finkel.

Klitschko was a challenger coming off a loss, AJ was a defending champion and already a bigger draw than Klitschko. Klitschko was given 45% a) out of respect and b) for agreeing to come to England, but not it wasn't 50/50 nor should it have been.

This thread is about A side B side. Post from your main instead of an alt. 50/50 split, not heading the fight billing, and coming to the ring 1st makes you not a clear A side.
