Just get DAZN for a month to watch a big fight or 2 for $9.99 then cancel, then renew again when another decent fight is on...yeah that's better than those ridiculous PPV prices.

I wonder how DAZN is going to combat this. Surely they have a plan?

I wouldn't be able to stop smiling after signing a deal of that magnitude

Huh? It's a huge deal for both. Canelo is instant money and DAZN is aligned with Matchroom who have been promoting for years. What exactly are you talking about?
Where are the clowns that said DAZN and Matchroom USA would crash and burn? It looks like they are operating exactly as planed, picking up huge names and doing big business.

This is going to open up major doors for Hearn! I still wonder how DAZN will perform against the competition.

I think the powers that be pretty much X GGG out due to his age and having less upside and time left. From the questionable scorecards, to the sudden over the top praise WBC been giving to Canelo, to this new deal. Its now clear this is what they always envisioned for Canelo not GGG, having the whole extravagant belt ceremony. Maybe if GGG was still in his early 30's it would be different situation but at this point they pretty much pushing GGG into retirement like other sports do once u get into your 30's no matter how good u still are 34-36 seems to be that magic your finished age

That is the question . . . but looks risky to me. Typically these mega deals in sports don't usually work out for the one forking out the money.

No. He is up there and he doesn't have an installed base.

Canelo is the safest bet, that said I'm not sure this will be what DAZN thinks it will be. But they've made their play, we will see how it works out.

They can use different tactics but maybe not initially.

How are they going to combat multiple users of one account like people do with Netflix? Netflix can afford that because of sheer volume and people aren't canceling after one show.
