I saw it mentioned Canelo is gonna be on 5 or 6 different DAZN platforms in different countries. Thats beefing up DAZN's content in all those countries & Canelo being added gives those platforms more value & therefore more money. This isn't just a DAZN USA thing. This is a DAZN Worldwide thing as far as DAZN is playing the game.
For $365m over 11 fights, outside of Mexico, I'd imagine that that was enough to swoop up Canelo's rights in the rest of the DAZN areas.

Gotta believe that streaming is the future and PPV and TV in general will be in the dustbin alongside the 8 track tape player and the victrola.
As much as streaming may end up being the future, PPV isn't vanishing in the next 5 years, and TV isn't disappearing for at least a generation.

The winner in the near term is the platform that gives access to everything, TV/PPV/streaming.

Are u that dense? So Jermall wants to fight for mandatory peanuts against Canelo (which would still be a career high payday) or negotiate with GBP or Hearn and work out a deal to get at least 5 mil to face Canelo with a bigger guarantee in a rematch if he wins and can still make 2-3 mil vs Jacobs and/or Andrade after the Canelo fight. Should he do that or take 25% purse bid and go back to Showtime or Fox where they don't have any opponents for him? Hmm which makes more business sense lmaoooo.

As for Jermell should he stay at PBC where the only big fight is Hurd? What is he going to do fight Lara who brings nothing to the table or rematch Trout or Lubin? LOL. Hurd is all that brings him big money.

Should Jermell do that or go to DAZN where he can unify with Munguia, or have big money fights with Kell Brook and Amir Khan and then move up to 160 where Canelo, Jacobs and Andrade are at?

Dude use some common sense. We know you are trying hard stating your case so you can get a job as a window washer at the PBC offices but PBC isn't the best route to go in all cases. In some cases it is but in others, like at 160 pounds or heayvweight, it definitely isn't.

I bet this has Floyd hella jealous right now knowing his petty ass.
I'd say GGG is the one that's jealous. He's still crying about the Canelo fight and to see Canelo get a deal like this while his property value dropped has to burn inside.

I highly doubt its THAT guaranteed. I bet DAZN has some veto power with opponents. I bet they got a loss clause that lowers his pay. And its boxing. Just like HBO could rip up a fighter contract if they want to I'm sure DAZN can to. I don't think this is guaranteed guaranteed. I think a lot of times mfers just like saying big words to take up space in their sentences.

Or it might be guaranteed, but I bet the $365M is only guaranteed if x, y & z go down. DAZN for sure has outs doe. These people with money ain't just splashing money around like that w/o some protection built in for them.

That’s why I figure there will be about three big fights out of the ten, that will cover the entire contract and then some. Similar to Floyd fighting Manny and Canelo as part of his six fight deal with SHO. Break even on some or most fights and come out way ahead of a few others.

The GGG rematch did 1.1 million PPV buys. Not sure how many lucrative opponents are out there for him.

Jermell beats Hurd and he's the WBC/WBA/IBF unified champion at the weight, with 8 of the top 11 fighters at 154lbs already in the PBC fold (access to 9 of the top 15 fighters at the weight).

Jermall Charlo has the purse bid backing him, with a Alvarez-Charlo fight still doing gangbusters on SHOPPV (prepping the possible bidders for what is needed to budget). With the bid hanging like a Damocles sword, Team Canelo isn't going to be the offer to Charlo all that much, so he's getting his money anyway.

Lions Only Promotions setting up shop in Houston, and the Charlos can grow into their money anyway

LOL. Why do all that when you can get 15 mil over 3 fights at DAZN instead of fighting for under 2 mil per fight like they do now? LOL you aren't a math major. Is Lions Only gonna do big things like Man Down Promotions or Devon Alexander's The Great Promotions? LMAO. Anyone can set up a promotional company. Doesn't mean they are profitable (like Mayweather's company has never turned a profit on any fight but his own) or even promote fights. Like Spence. Haymon doesn't share profits with promoters. He uses them like site coordinators. Remember you were the same person who somehow thought Spence was getting a piece of foreign tv for his fights LMAAAAOOOOOO.

And the best part of it all is the Chrlos can still "set up shop" with Lions Only Promotions doing the same thing they would do with PBC as part of DAZN. Just like Marquez and Pacquiao did for their fights. It is just a tax write off for the Charlos anyway and could still be that with DAZN. Devin Haney's promotional company promotes more than Spence or Charlos smh.
