if we know no serious negotiations will happen until after the fury fight why do we have to constantly hear this from hearn?

there is no need to rush Wilder into big fights against the best of the division; that despite a world title he still needs time to grow and groom his skills. Your calling AJ and Whyte duckers but they have their own agendas and fights to make. I ask you to consider where Wilder is and why he did not go for those fights,
but it is OK he never chased them to unify as he was not ready he was not ducking, he was not scared just not ready. So Wilders not ready and AJ is ducking......
and Hearn went to USA to talk about the guaranteed 80 million etc offer but they would not meet him, he had to agree to the deal firsts with no details and nothing in writing. There was Nothing stopping Wilders team continuing with that offer to make it work and explain/meet negotiate with Hearn and AJ but no they had to agree to it without seeing it...at the end of the day it is just politic's about money and looking after your fighters, it is not about ducking and cowards. For example what does Ortiz bring, no money thats for sure and a mere chance of being next to fight Wilder in about a years time aside from a risky fight. Whyte via Hearn offered Wilder 7 million in the end to Wilder about 3 times more than any of his previous fights
pay cheque, in fact what he asked for after turning down the first offer. So a risky fight (in Wilders eyes an easy fight) and the rewards money was there...we wont mention ducking again re why this fight did not take place, as it was about money Wilder will not take risks unless the big payoff is there hence Fury and eventually AJ fights.

He also said a contract had been sent which I think most would agree didn't happen.
Also Finkel or Wilder have never mentioned it which is very strange if there was a rematch added for such a large amount considering they are the ones making the fight.

So it clearly wasn't 80 mil as it only made the headlines when Frank was slating Hearn and AJ.

Offers why do you keep going on about offers
Originally posted by JWHardin View PostAbout what I figured. (you couldn't prove your claim) None of the guys you mentioned made an offer. Carry on.
No one made any offers to Wilder, so what, why was he not chasing them setting up a unification, that is the whole point. He should have been fighting them, but o no they did not make him an offer. So the great kings fight kings Wilder let AJ do all the unification work because they did not make him an offer to fight him. It should have been Wilder with all his skills knockout power and fight experience. Not some new boy. Now he wants to fight because the money is worth the risk. This is why Wilder has 40 fights in and is only just starting to step up and take risks, this is what they have been waiting for. So if AJ delays the fight he is only doing what Wilder did and making sure he is ready, not ducking not a coward just making sure things are right for him....maybe in another 18 fights AJ will be ready...LOL

Also don't forget the deal was thrown by Finkel as well cancelling meeting and refusing to meet, so they're both to blame unless you're absolutely bias.
Wilder agreed to a lesser amount as long as the fight was next, but Hearn wouldn't agree to that. Wilder moved on. You should to, until AJ grows a pair and takes control of his own career. Hearn works for him not the other way around.
By the way, the $50 million offer that AJ fans say big deal about? It is a big deal because it was the highest guaranteed offer ever in the history of boxing.Last edited by JWHardin; 11-01-2018, 05:32 AM.

You should have said the fight will be made when HEARN feels the time is right, because AJ apparently is just a puppet.
