So when he sent it back to Eddie to fill in all the logistics of the contract. Eddie Hearn went into a full panic attack mode. He realized his bluff was called and that Team Wilder was actually willing to accept all of their terms and conditions of the fight.

So Eddie notified the WBA's President Mendoza about Joshua's mandatory status with Povetkin and that was when Mendoza issued a 24 hour deadline to finalize a mandatory deal between Joshua and Povetkin; Which effectively ended all negotiations. .
Finkel admitted he knew the fight was next but declined it when there was no date or venue which was to be determined before years end...the SAME Finkel who had no date or venue in the Fury fight.

finkel SELF admitted the money was not ideal but fair and a good opportunity for Wilder...HE STATED that when it was in his hands...you CLOWNS...lol

Finkel did not exercise anything but being a fraud.

Hes a fraud because he had a contract written for him then declined it ,waited on it ...went to social media and knew team Povetkin would jump in which forced WBA to take action.

Carry on clown ,I have to admit the garbage you post is amusing...a little more then most fan girls on here because its ALMOST believable though just the same and should be flushed down a toilet. .

"Hearn/Joshua turned down a guaranteed $80 million over two fights"

My response was literally to you saying this. So are you saying you made that figure up or did say someone else to make Joshua look bad? Looks like someone's lying about the 30 mil rematch unless Finkel forgot in his old age.

      • Joshua doesn't fight on ppv in U.S. So he has zero numbers to compare. If not 50/50 then 60/40 at the least.

        • He knows he doesn't have to try that hard to make the fight. AJ can still make huge money fighting guys less dangerous than Wilder. It's win, win for team AJ. He gets very well paid if he fights Wilder but he still gets well paid if he doesn't. As long as AJ keeps winning he will be considered THE champion in the UK even if he never fights Wilder. AJ is so big in the UK that he doesn't need the approval of the rest of the world to become a very rich boxer.

          • Its about the ducking rubbish

Hearn/Joshua turned down a guaranteed $80 million over two fights, even if Joshua lost the first. That doesn't include PPV shares either. The BS rumor about network problems could have been worked out with that much on the table. They didn't want the fight then and I am not convinced they do yet.

Joshua will probably fight Whyte since he is keeping him away from Ortiz. Then probably Miller in the fall.
Your reading skills are ***t buddy this is about saying boxers are ducking. Think about how many fights AJ has had and what he has achieved. When new WBC champion Wilder was (33-0, 32KOs) His co manger saids "He is still very much a work in progress, says his co-manager Shelly Finkel. he goes onto say
there is no need to rush Wilder into big fights against the best of the division; that despite a world title he still needs time to grow and groom his skills. Your calling AJ and Whyte duckers but they have their own agendas and fights to make. I ask you to consider where Wilder is and why he did not go for those fights,
but it is OK he never chased them to unify as he was not ready he was not ducking, he was not scared just not ready. So Wilders not ready and AJ is ducking......

and Hearn went to USA to talk about the guaranteed 80 million etc offer but they would not meet him, he had to agree to the deal firsts with no details and nothing in writing. There was Nothing stopping Wilders team continuing with that offer to make it work and explain/meet negotiate with Hearn and AJ but no they had to agree to it without seeing it...at the end of the day it is just politic's about money and looking after your fighters, it is not about ducking and cowards. For example what does Ortiz bring, no money thats for sure and a mere chance of being next to fight Wilder in about a years time aside from a risky fight. Whyte via Hearn offered Wilder 7 million in the end to Wilder about 3 times more than any of his previous fights
pay cheque, in fact what he asked for after turning down the first offer. So a risky fight (in Wilders eyes an easy fight) and the rewards money was there...we wont mention ducking again re why this fight did not take place, as it was about money Wilder will not take risks unless the big payoff is there hence Fury and eventually AJ fights.

            • Just like how Whyte was consistently "making the effort" to get Luis Ortiz over to England on December 22...and then when Ortiz agreed they started taking about Chisora instead.

              • If Wilder beats Fury he will become the true Lineal champion, and that's very bad news for Fast Eddie.

That may be true but the fact remains that he will never get full respect as a Champion until he fights Wilder (or Fury if he wins).

Until December 3 or 4, when Haymon & Finkel have a general idea of how well the PPV did, there's no way to know what Wilder's worth is. This is why Eddie is in a panic. He never thought Wilder would go on PPV without Joshua. If Wilder can do even 350,000 PPV buys, his value in the Joshua fight goes through the roof.
