    It was $50m OR 50/50.

You can see why Joshua rejected it, because a 50/50 split (meaning BOTH earn $50m+) is unfair when Wilder has never proven his PPV value at heavyweight.
BS! It was $50 million guaranteed to Joshua, plus they would share 50/50 on PPV revenue.

PPV's in the UK are not the same as PPV's in the U.S. To maximize revenue for both the fight would have to be in Vegas. Even Hearn and Joshua admitted that is where the most money is.

It was 50m guaranteed to Joshua and then all PPV revenue belonged to Wilder until he'd reached 50 also at which point they would share 50/50.

There is also the rumoured collaboration of Finkel with Frank Warren raising the 50m (£ or $?) but it would be on BT sport in the UK.

If that is true then I fully understand why Joshua didn't take the offer. He is signed to Matchroom that has a long standing relationship with Sky Sports...and now DAZN.

I watched the interview with Deontay Wilder where he mentioned the UK not liking him because of him being a dark skinned black man blah blah blah. He surprised me when he said that fans just need to be fans and not get tied up in the business side of things, its too complicated. I think we all need to take a pinch of that advice and either ignore the BS about offers etc or be open minded as to the propaganda/promotional aspects which seem to have consumed this forum.

Warren says his involvement was in relation to seeking to put a value on he UK PPV rights for the fight. He used his connections with BT sport to establish what they thought it would make and thus they could take this into account in pricing the fight as a whole.

The reason Wilder walked is because Hearn WOULDN'T guarantee the fight is next. Did they get the fight signed in 24 hrs like the WBA mandated? No. The 24 hr mandate was June 26. The fight was signed July 3rd. All BS.
Show me where Hearn refused to guarantee the fight next?

Sort it out knob features we're going in circles here and I'm getting bored of giving you a free education, read the last post. Hearns agreed 'deal' with Povetkin was clearly enough assurance for the WBA about Povetkin fighting next that they didn't need a physical signature, it happened next didn't it. Also you're saying Hearn controlled the WBA and made them give himself a 24hr deadline that he couldn't meet, ok ******.

The other guy explained fighting in September, the fight had no US draw so no competition with GGG Nelo, no problem.
