Empty arenas so far for DAZN. Where's the "Sweet Caroline" atmosphere?

I think you gotta give him some time with figuring out the US audience & dressing up the event more like he did in the UK. He didn't do that sh^t in the UK overnight.
I definitely think he's one of the more creative thinkers who thinks of the fans & what they actually want or will enjoy beyond the actual fights more than most promoters so I think he will do something, but I think giving the guy a year or two to work out kinks & play around with sh^t is fair before you judge that angle of his US move.
The roster critique I think is more fair, but I think that even takes some time despite Hearn himself not thinking that to be the case. Hearn basically came out like Roc Nation did with some rag tag group of the best talent around that wasn't signed with anyone notable although a lot of that was cuz no one big wanted them anyway or seen them as a draw. So Eddie now has to make these guys look like they made the best decisions in their life to entice bigger names in the future & as Roc Nation never tried to do.Comment

yea no i get itOK? But it is a difference, you don't see American Promoters going into the UK talking about they're "Taking Over" and how they will deliver this and that in a UK Market they know nothing about
You pack in 80K for boxing, how does that NOT express Popularity in the sport of boxing in the UK. Not only that but fans BRAG about how Popular Boxing is in the UK compared to America
Also when American promoters does business in the UK, they typically reach out to the Local Promoters in the UK, this is how it has always been

Has NOTHING to do with pretending to know WTF is going on in the UK, personally most of us YANKS really don't give a F_ck about what goes on in the UK which explains why No American Promoters really tried to branch out into the UK
ur anti brit and pro american
ur posts show that and u tend to get angry too
no need to prove it furtherComment

I agree! Everything doesn't have to be Vegas, Los Angeles and New York only. People will come out for their Local Fighters like Fresno does for Jose Ramirez, like Nebraska does for Terrance Crawford and as you said New Orleans for PrograisProbably so, but I would love to see him try to bring boxing to cities like Boston/NO/Chicago/etc. I mean not like others haven't tried in the past, but lets see what he can do. Boxing in the states puts up good numbers in certain cities like Memphis, yet hardly any boxing events take place there. NO is another city that brings in good ratings, and there was the Prograis' card there in July. Did solid numbers, but the venue was small.
This was actually one of the things I was looking forward to when Hearn announced that DAZN deal.Comment

Let’s hope Matchroom USA has a better eye for American prospects than they showed us with Nkosi Solomon. Next big star at heavyweight my ass lolI think you gotta give him some time with figuring out the US audience & dressing up the event more like he did in the UK. It's not Matchrooms fault if your fighters turn out to be ****.
At least he will give him a chance instead of throwing him on the scrap heap.Comment
