The heavyweight division is the hottest division in boxing again. It doesn't matter if you are American fan or a British fan this is good for the sport in general. Eventually and hopefully the states will embrace the sport again.

To those who say I want the DAZN to fail that's false. As a fan I want to see boxing succeed; In any platform available just so long as they are good fights.

I think Parker has the tools but after banking over 15 million in his 3 fights in England plus whatever he got against Takam & Ruiz his motivation level may never be what it was early in his career. He made his money early & recapturing that drive may never happen...

When Parker started stepping up his level of opposition, the KO's stopped. He was gifted against Ruiz and the Cojanu and Fury fights were eyesores. Then he finally fought AJ and Whyte and got humbled. He is what he always has been, a gatekeeper who will never get over the top. His arms are too short and he doesnt go for it in his fights. But in order to go for it, you have to risk getting knocked out yourself and that's why he will always stay at the level he is. Not enough heart to risk it all

How about you start another winning streak up by fighting Charles Martin or Eric Molina or some crap.

Even though he nearly had Dillian out of there at the end and it was a decent fight, i'm not even that interested in a rematch.

i think it's because Parker has shown very little desire to win in his last two fights apart from the last minute of the last fight. He looked too happy to accept defeat as long as he was relatively competitive at times. Not a champions mentality and i don't think that can be changed.

i don't think he's that good anyway and if you're not good enough, then so be it, but there's no real excuse for resigning yourself to defeat halfway through a fight.

There's no way guys like Fury, AJ, wilder etc..would ever start looking sorry for themselves in the ring and accept defeat like that.

I can't see too many half-decent contenders lining up for the long flight to New Zealand.

Parker and his trainer are apparently really close though, so he'll likely stick with him, to the detriment of his career. I have no idea who could be Parker's new trainer if he did split with Kevin Barry.
Nailed it. Kevin Barry is like family to Parker - Parker spends a lot of his time living at Kevin's house, where Kevin's wife is pretty much his nutritionist and chef. It's well past a professional relationship.

Unfortunately, the by-product of that close relationship, is that Parker can't see what everyone else sees - that Kevin has taken him as far as he can. He desperately needs a fresh approach, or his career will flounder in a hurry.
