The reality is when he did have an opportunity to face a 168 fighter he said no thanks if it's not Chavez Jr or Froch. And when did fight someone not from 160 they were JMW & WW.

    Let's stick to reality
    Ok so answer this
Why was canelo willing to fight Chavez jr at 164 but not ggg at 160? It took him what two years? That’s a fact

And if Golovkin fights Murata I'm not going to be saying he is a major world title holder either (he holds the same belt that Fielding holds).
          Shhhhh.

Enjoy the hilarity. Embrace it. No one really thinks Rocky is some atg guy. It’s just a title grab so he doesnt have to cut much and to give him some options. Maybe get some 168er to drain down and “unify”.

There’s a few people mad as hell and some haaaate the Vanes topic and it always leads to funny ish.

Be a man. Take a side and run with it for a day or two and have a few laughs to shoot the s hit.

And you think the WBA isnt one of the major titles? Yikes.

What a ******ed answer. Open your eyes dude. So that’s why Mikey wants to fight Spence at 147 so he can get comfortable at 140

Canelo isn't ggg, this is the 4th weight class he's fighting in. ggg can't be budged to concede weight to any opponent.

I’m looking at the whole picture. I’ve said numerous times that unfortunately his legacy is hurt by his lack of high quality opponents. I also know that there were clearly things that were out of his control. He had his Hopkins like chance against Canelo. And while I think he won both fights he didn’t do what happens was able to do.

But no none of it was “easy”.

How does the Mikey thing make sense? Canelo opted to fight Cotto..no one would fight GGG over Cotto. Cotto is a huge name on the resume along with a great event that people wanted. Fighting a way bigger name who holds the wbc AND lineal title? Yeah... no brainer..He gave us the gift of showing us the moment Khan went to Narnia. Show some gratitude. Everyone in Mexico has ALWAYS wanted to see Canelo fight Jr and the longer time passes, the less likely that fight would have ever happened. I think he fought Liam before Jr at 54 which I didn’t particularly mind. Seemed to have made weight easy and just went to show he was still the best at 54. Then he FOUGHT GGG.

Mikey hasnt even gotten close to 147...let alone being the best at 140 or trying to be. Mikey is a 35 pounder and he can say hed like to fight Canelo but it doesnt mean he’d be in a hurry to. He’d be a ****** to do it.

LOL at "Zeuge being a better win then most of the 160 guys have". Idek what to say to that except B+ troll post.

I'd say SMW is a much stronger division than people realize.
Well it is a young up & coming guy division. Its not an uncompelling division. Its just that Canelo isn't fighting a compelling fight there is the thing. Canelo vs Ramirez is compelling. Canelo vs Jose U is compelling. Canelo vs Benavidez would probably have me attending the fight live. Thing is there are still more compelling fights at 160 vs more established, more proven, more threatening guys. Canelo vs GGG III. Canelo vs Charlo. Canelo vs the BJS/Andrade winner. Canelo vs the Jacobs/Derevyanchenko winner.

It's pretty dangerous giving up such a big size advantage.
If this fight was that dangerous Canelo wouldn't be taking it 3 months after the GGG fight. It feels a step below the proposed Lemieux fight to most cats I'm seeing talking about both of those fights.

Its also unknown if this will be a 168lb fight. I think its completely possible this will be a catchweight fight at 163 or 165 or some sorta catchweight.

                      Not bad advice.

No I do not believe the WBA Interim belt is a a major title.

                      Here's the interim title holders:

                      HW
Manuel Charr (sorry I have not a clue who this guy is, not even on the top 10 Ring rating)
                      Cruiserweight
Beirut Shumenov (also not in Ring top 10)

Just go down the list and it is more of the same. Murata is on there too, I'm not saying Golovkin won a significant MW title if he beats Murata.

The best fighter on there is Pac . . . and no on in their right mind believes Pac holds a major belt right now at 147lbs.
