By announcing the fight in the ring straight away you already have thousands witnessing the announcement live, plus how ever many people watching it at home & then streaming... Millions of people know about it instantly.

Think of the number of people who will then relay that onto Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc so all their friends/followers will see it... THEN add the world media on top of that... Literally millions of people are aware of the announcement within 1 minute of it being announced.

It's a smart business move if you think about it as it created maximum exposure before the first press conference. It certainly beats just an article on this website and a few others?
If Wilder beats Fury he will have a lot more leverage. It's that simple.

Is he not confident in beating Fury? He’s been offered a huge deal.

Wladimir had leverage. Canelo has leverage. You can't compare them to Wilder. If Wilder beats Fury he will have leverage and won't have to deal with the low ball tactics used by Hearn. It's that simple.

If Hearn was truly serious about making the fight this offer whatever it is would have been made the first time.

You don't know what the offer truly was. But you can pretend that you negotiate for Joshua and see his contract offers.

So you're just going to believe anything Hearn says to the media. Got it.

I still remember last April where Aquajuice demanded $50 from Wilder's camp and he will fight him anywhere. They came up with the money & Aquajuice team became quiet. Just saying....

Those scenario's are totally different, I agree. Both those fights and the fights after were in the U.S market...... Joshua is U.K only, and Wilder might just be away to crack America (if It's as exciting as joshua/Klitschko).... if it does 500k buys and that happens he is just as big in his own country, and it will take a 50/50 split at least to fight in the U.K....or 60/40 to Joshua in the U.S..... home advantage gives 10% IMO.

Eddie Hearn is a great talker, don’t believe a word that comes out of his mouth
