The basic back hand
"The Backhand – is the straight right hand for orthodox boxers and the straight left hand for southpaws, the backhand is thrown the same way as the jab the only difference is that the backhand is a power shot so you need to use your body as well as your arm to throw the shot, this is done by first twisting on the ball of the same foot your throwing the shot with like you were taking a swing of a golf club this is so that you use your body to throw the shot rather than just your arm, your back hand comes straight from your head in a straight line to the opponent and then back in a straight line back into the guard position. This shot is delivered with power and is a very effective shot is delivered properly, as with any shots in boxing the better your technique is in attacking the better your defence will be for example when throwing your straight shots keep your chin tucked in against your shoulder so not giving a target for your opponent.".....

Your a ****ing idiot. Ever hear of a left hook delivered with the lead hand of a right handed fighter. You used the terms power punch and backhanded punch as being synonymous when the left hook is clearly a power punch not delivered with the backhand. Since a power punch is generally accepted as any punch that isn't a jab nobody figured you could be that ******. So the natural conclusion was you were talking about an illegal punch.

Scoring a fight. The number one criteria for a fighter is to deliver punches on his opponent. The scoring guidelines you mentioned are weight factors to determine the effect of those landed punches and who controls the fight. The main objective of boxing is to either KO your opponent or to deliver more punches than you receive. It's up to the judges to determine how to apply the scoring guidelines. Saying that landing more punches on your opponent isn't a scoring criteria is idiotic.

I also said he didn't attack the body in the later rounds of the rematch even when Canelo was tiring and his counters were losing steam. Golovkin was getting countered anyway. I don't buy the afraid of counters argument. The bottom line is if he was afraid of counters as you say or he was obsessed with head hunting it was a huge mistake.

The majority of Golovkin's punches were aimed for Golivkin's head. Hell he hardly even jabbed to the body. Any rational person would say that's head hunting.
