And that's why Canelo is assured to take the fight.

Cut the bs Fishnets, Ginger is ONLY fighting the has been Lemieux. As for G, it would be in Ginger'$ best interest to fight G a 3rd time. Nobody he fights is gonna make him that type of money. Besides, it 1-1 now, a 3rd fight is warranted

Golovkin probably isn't fighting until May, so I'm okay with Canelo fighting Lemieux in December-January. With that said, if that happens, how does the whole mandatory situation play out? Wouldn't that technically be his voluntary defense? Although then, it seems Golovkin vs Charlo would still have to happen?

Meaning... Canelo gets more than 1 voluntary defense?

If I was GGG or Charlo I would try to fight at around the same time as Canelo or just a month after so as not to give Canelo enough time to request another voluntary.

If think about it, if Canelo fights first, technically his mandatory won't be due until GGG and Charlo fight, and if his mando aint due, then technically he has a right to make a voluntary request.

It is not in either GGG or Charlo's interests to delay negotiations.

They must quickly sit down and sign on the dotted line to fight in either Dec or early Jan.

Golovkin already lost two times and is not getting better at this age so what's the point? Like DC said after Jon Jones fights when you lose two times it's not a rivalry

Be careful dissing Lemieux he's the second best fighter that GGG ever beat. So if he's a bum then what does that say about GGG's entire resume when Lemieux is the best of the bums he's beaten minus Jacobs there is no win better then Lemieux. I love how GGG fans inadvertently admit GGG has beaten nobody. Lemieux is a top 2 win on his resume. After Canelo beats Lemieux he won't even crack Canelo's top 10 wins. Shows you just what level opponents Canelo has fought and how weak GGG entire career has been.

I box weekly while I'm sure you've done nothing more than slap box as a 10 yr old. Oitworkijgbisnt abiut what may take more energy. You really juarborved how little you know about boxing. Outworking is about activity rate. You can minimize the impact of a jab all you want but aby pro will tell you it's the most thrown and most important punch in boxing. Get a clue.
