I really don't understand people defending wilder/his team for ducking this offer.

It's because your reputation precedes you. Eddie has lied and lied over and over again. So who can even trust what he has to say at the moment? If he is serious, then he will deal with Finkel and Haymon on their terms after Dec 1.

Why is Eddie even trying to negotiate a fight now. Wilder might not even win! Or what if it ends in a draw like Canelo and GGG first fight. Or if Wilder or Fury get injured in the fight and needs to be healed up.

Really, the Fury/Wilder fight is a big promotional tool for AJ/Hearn and Hearn is just being a slimy promoter and taking advantage. I’d do the same thing for my fighter tbh.
