I'm good either way... actually I'd probably prefer to see the Charlo fight. I did think GGG edged the last fight - just - but it's clear the trajectory favours Canelo, we'd just see more of the same with a close but clear to Canelo this time round.

Triple L lost BOTH fights vs Nelo. Triple L should let Jermall feast on whatever is left of him.
I see Charlo getting step aside money whilst Canelo (if at all) takes on Lemieux or a similar fight, which means he can fight Golovkin in April/May next year.
If I were Golovkin I would recognise there is no way to crack the enigma that is Canelo and the preferential treatment he receives and give up on him.
but that won't happen because GGG wasted his final prime years chasing Canelo when he could have been taking other fights. Doesn't he see it's a dead end? maybe Golovkin has taken one too many bumps on the head.

They were two great fights that GGG should have won at least one of them but sadly hes too slow for Canelo and unless he pulls out a miracle he ain't beating Canelo.

It's funny how boxing fans work. When canelo fought khan, Smith and Chavez jr, none of them asked who have those guys beaten to deserve a Canelo fight. There's talk of Canelo facing lemieux and Canelo fans seem ok with that despite him being an obvious pick for an easy fight. But once charlos name comes up, here comes all the excuses of who has beat, he doesn't deserve it, make him fight ggg first. Canelos team doesn't want any smoke with fighters who are in their 20s. Their style is to wait until fighters hit their mid 30s and then eek out decisions with the judges help.
It's funny to watch them squirm at the thought of a competitive fight.

Golovkin is starting to be old and a has been slowing down at 160, he sould move up to face bigger guys like he always promised us. He would have a better shot versus stronger but slower guys.

Nelo's 2 fights aren't that bad for GGG since it will be regarded as some Leonard vs Hagler controversial type of fights.
Hagler didn't get humiliated for losing to Leonard.
Common sense tells GGG should be 1-1 vs Nelo.
Nelo is A fighter, so if you go 1-1 versus a A fighter being on the decline and +35 years old then you're not the B overrated bum beater fighter painted by your haters.

I think Charlo should get the shot, I'd watch a GGG/Canelo III but GGG can't win decisively in this fight unless he stops Canelo which I'm not sure he can at this stage.
I'm not totally convinced Jermall is the dude 'no one wants to fight' - I mean, in time, maybe, but he's only just arrived at MW and non of the top guys have really had much chance to show if they'll fight him or not. Problem Charlo has is that if the WBC mandates Canelo - GGG III then Jermall will be bumped back til after the winner (probably Canelo) has also fought his WBA mandatory and probably had another voluntary in between each - which could take us til 2020 quite easily or even 2021.
ie:
Dec 2018: Voluntary
May 2019: GGG 3
Sept 2019: Voluntary
May: 2020: WBA mando
Sept: 2020: Voluntary
May 2021: Charlo or whoever is WBC mando at that time.
So Jermall better hope he ain't being avoided, because if he is he might be waiting a looong time for that shot. Maybe better to focus on one of the other titlists, we've seen with GGG what happens if you spend your time hanging on the end of the line waiting for the 'A' side to call instead of pushing to make the best fight available right now.
Ask Triple L & his team if they would fight Jermall, OH wait we did & they don't want it! LMMFAO!
