Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson Tabs Anthony Joshua as The Top Heavyweight

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson views Anthony Joshua as the top dog at the weight class. Tyson, who retired in 2005, is very impressed with Joshua after watching some of his recent performances - including last week's seventh round knockout victory over Alexander Povetkin at Wembley Stadium in London.

I think Joshua and Ortiz have the best fundamentals, and I think Fury is a better boxer than Wilder! However, Wilder is the hardest puncher Wilder basically came off the streets and won a Bronze Medal at the Olympics! He's getting better, but I don't think he'll ever become Wlad or Vitali! Usyk is the "Wild Card!" If Usyk can carry at least 230 effectively (Wilder beat Ortiz at 215) he could be the best of them all!

If Tyson claims that you are the top dog of the division. Then I guess that makes you the top dog of the division.

After all, Mike should know. He has been down in the trenches. Besides, it's a fact; At the moment all roads lead to Anthony Joshua.

After all, he does holds 4/5ths or 80 percent of the current Heavyweight titles. It's very hard to argue against that.

Absolute crap. Wilder had about the same amount of training as Joshua.

Joshua is erasing many of my residual doubts of late, especially because of his ability to keep his composure under fire and not going unnecessarily wild during his attacks.

Still, I would like to see how he reacts if one of Wilder's bombs hit him square.

I don't know if Mike caught wind of Wilders comments about him, if he did its no wonder he's pickin' Joshua. But, If Team-Barry Hearn gets his way with his plans to make Wilder "wait" til he's 35/36 before fighting his android, then Mike can automatically be right! 'We'll wait for the deficient version of Wilder, thank you, and we expect a signed contract 2yrs in advance!....its only right, among other things'

Whatever lennox says.. Mike just says the opposite. Lmao. Mike don't have anything against Wilder.. he just hates lennox. Lmao. Too many fighters and fans agree that Wilder is the best! AJ is all smoke and mirrors.. and would crumble facing Wilder, Ortiz, Miller or briggs! Lol
