At heavyweight, the IBO doesn't charge a sanctioning fee. They offer their belt, for free, to the star in the division. There's no mandatory defenses either. So if you're Lennox Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko, Anothony Joshua or others, it's temping to accept the title to try to trick fans into thinking you have more belts than you do.
So when a fan has been tricked, it's important to remind them that the IBO isn't a world title.
