It's a sad truth and even with PEDS he still have so many gift wins.

This greatest of all time stuff is just opinion and can never be proven right or wrong. There is no one all mighty list of the greatest 10 or 20 or 30 or 100 boxers of all time written down in order. There as many lists as there are boxing fans and boxing writers and no two lists are he same. If you think Mayweather should be rated above Duran then put him higher. It's your list and you are the boss of it. Maybe you forgot or never knew it to begin with but Duran was a great lightweight champion for years before he ever fought Leonard. It was because of his reign of terror as the lightweight champion for many years and successful title defenses usually by KO that so many rank Duran so high among the all time greats and not because of his defeat of Leonard. I will continue to rate Duran higher than Mayweather because I think the lightweight Duran would beat the lightweight Mayweather. Mayweather had a better overall career because he was always in top condition and fought at his proper weight. Duran was not always in shape and he fought in weight classes he should never have fought in. But the best 135 pound Mayweather still loses to the best 135 pound Duran in my opinion.

Floyd beats every fighter on Duran's resume (with the possible exception of Sugar Ray Leonard.) Duran does NOT beat every fighter on Floyd's resume, though.

Mayweather would handle Duran the way Leonard did in their two rematches. He'd outclass him and make him look stupid.

Floyd is greater than Duran. Duran was outboxed easily by a Scottish fighter named Ken Buchanan before hitting Buchanan with a low blow which was called a knockout victory for Duran. Buchanan fought in a similar fashion to Floyd but was nowhere near as quick.

Duran was also defeated in every weight class he competed in. He lost at lightweight, welterweight, light middleweight, and middleweight. Floyd has more wins over world champions in more weight classes all while not losing a single time.

And before people say Floyd would lose to the guys Duran fight, you really can't prove that for a fact. People would say Ali would be a bum in Jack Johnson's era, Joe Louis' era, and Rocky Marciano's era but they couldn't prove that for a fact.

            Ill say it again:

floyd never beat an ATG fighter near prime, much less at prime. Most of the guys he beat were past it. head to head? Floyd lost getting a gift decision against a pressure fighter who was not half the fighter Duran was, what more needs to be said? A typical floyd Win is Sugar Shane Mosley at a weight and at a time when Shane had lost more than a few steps, a typical Duran win is Someone like moore who was superb and hardly is mentioned. And going up? Madianna a fairly good pressure fighter gave Floyd all he could handle, while Duran handled a guy who was one of the toughest fighters in the modern era Iran Barkely. Its not even close.

But he has something Floyd doesn't.

              A win(s) over a prime HOF/ATG.

Anybody willing to admit to fights they thought Floyd was going to lose? I’ll trust ur opinion if uve got it right so far. I’ve never bet against him since seeing his first fight. I think he beats everyone.

In 20 years time or so. Not enough time has passed to take a nostalgic look back on FM's career. It's like all the movies from the 1930s - 60s being rated 100/100 on RottenTomatoes by film critics who still think technicolor is sorcery.

You are a nutthugger and a fanboy so not getting into a debate but two major falsehoods.

Duran was not getting outboxed by Buchanan. He was dominating and way ahead. He also never lost at 135 as you claim. He lost a non-title right at 140 to DeJesus. Non-title fights didn’t mean as much either they were really just used for fine tuning. Floyd did get a gift vs. Castillo though and Castillo isn’t in Durans league nor is the Maidana that Floyd got a gift over.

The fact you listed Leonard as his only good win tells me you are either trolling or DKSAB
