Why does the amount Hearn offered Wilder seem to get bigger each time I see someone bring it up? Now it's up to 8 million
SO did wilder duck Whyte?

£8 million for an "easy night's work" which would have had the direct effect of increasing demand among the only people Hearn's interested in, the UK casuals.
****, we'd probably have an undisputed champion right now.Comment

IT was always $8 million was it not? either way my original post was meant to be for context of the situation; the exact value wasn't important. It was a big financial amount - but didn't include Joshua within contract - wasn't the point.
Simply put - he certainly wasn't being greedy because he got offered big money for that fight, but then was that because he risked even bigger money by taking it - or not?
Obviously he has fought Ortiz and fury (scheduled) so two not bad alternatives. Outside of those though Whyte has to be the biggest other opponent other than AJ he can fight? I mean if he took on Whyte after fury he would be going into AJ fight with three big wins and not only a much improved resume Burbank also much better preparation?Comment

hahaha yes!Dillian Whyte is another cheating bum. He had the chance to fight Wilder but he pulled out of the eliminator like a coward and now he’s running scared from Ortiz. Nobody pulls out of a guaranteed Title Eliminator unless their scared. He really thought beating an inactive Lucas Browne was going to get him a shot at Wilder lmao! If he feels the WBC cheated him out of a title shot why don’t he sue them like other boxers have done in the past??
Matter of fact didn’t Whyte pull out of two fights like a coward lol. So Whyte ducked Ortiz and Pulev.
whyte thought being a D level 39 year old bar bouncer was going to land him a wilder fight...lolol
if whyte wanted to come to BK and fight wilder on showtime for the going rate that someone whytes level gets to fight wilder then wilder would gladly spark him out......
wilder said "guarantee me AJ next and ill fight whyte next"....and we heard "cant do that" from hearn
we heard "wilder show me 50 mil and ill sign right now"....then we heard "cant do that" again from hearn
we can see who the true BS artists are here...its plain as dayComment

[QUOTE=Kezzer;19148005]SO now evidence has emerged ill post the facts first.
Whyte was number one in WBC rankings.
Whyte made second mandatory (behind Brezeale)
Wilder said public “Whyte go fight Ortiz then I’ll fight you”
Eddie Hearn offered Wilder $8m to fight Whyte - with aim to build up Joshua fight - but wouldn’t include AJ in contract
Simple Wilder shook of Whyte why would he not take to easy money apparantley.Comment

No. He fought Ortiz who was undefeated while AJ had KOed Whyte. What would beating an AJ victim prove? All the offers for Wilder to fight Whyte involved Wilder fighting him in England. An American champion fighting an Englishman in England is a bad idea. The American likely won't get fair scoring if the fight goes the distance. English referees are famous for stopping fights way too early when the visiting fighter is not hurt much just to give the Englishman a KO win. Wilder could try to get neutral judges and referee but it's still a bad idea. It's better as champion to make the Englishman come to America and be at a disadvantage. That's why AJ says Wilder must come to England to fight him, probably with English judges and referee.Comment
