Only casuals focus on "boring." Boxing is about winning. Casuals want to see C-level guys like Gatti-Ward and they think those fights are something amazing. I'll take a "boring" fight from the best two in the division over some telephone booth fight between two C-Levels any day.

Actually......lennox needed to take the rematch with vitali. Instead he retired for good and passed the torch to vitali. Vitali then retired and passed the torch to wladimir who held it for a decade. Fury took it from him and never lost it. Even in his hiatus. Just like Floyd is still #1, ward is still #1.......fury is back in the ring and has to be beaten before he loses it.

Lineal champion? At some point who you are becomes a formality and then even formality fades into obscurity. Let's see first if this fight actually happens or if coke-head is going to pull out again a couple of times with his boo-boos.

When you've ****ed-up and disappointed people, you have more to do to earn back their trust than you did to gain it in the first place.
Get real. The King does what the f**k he wants and gets his minions to run ***** whilst he whores, hunts, drinks and smokes himself into oblivion. He doesn't come back to become King again, merely to remind them who IS King.

Tyson Fury: "Until someone beats me, I am the king of the heavyweight division. Long live the king.”

              Deontay Wilder: "Challenge accepted."

Hopefully Fury will be disrespectful and wind Wilder up otherwise the whole build up might be about Wilder telling everyone how Tyson is the saviour of Britain and Joshua is the Coward. I’m not ruling out They French kiss at any stage before December 1st at 200/1. ..... great odds
Lmao! this is the fight everybody is talking about.. stop hating my g! Lol

Oye Im getting so confused here...I know Fury is a king, but he seems to be a lot of kings... King of the Gypsy's the Gypsy King, the Lineal King? If I was playing checkers with the guy and he said "King me" I think I would about have a seizure!

Thats not true. first of all lineages do get issues...In Martial arts there are splits where one guy develops a separate line of the same art... Don't make the mistake of assuming because there might be issues with interpreting a claim that makes the lineags null and void.

In the lineal it has not been an issue because so far, and we are only talking since what? the 1970's? when a fighter retired he did not come back. If Lewis came back hypothetically there might be two lineals. But there is a difference in the length and type of retirement.

Now your second claim that the lineal was "broken" is a little more interesting. But as long as someone replaced Lewis that could be the lineal stand in. Or it could be the next unified champion. There is nothing that says the lineal cannot be broken.
