Nope. The first part could be...it is actually a very good way of resolving the issue of when a fighter retires. But how did Vitali pass it on to his brother? He can't just will it. here is what he could have done: schedule a match with Vitali against his brother, say it is private but sanctioned, the bell rings, Vitali does not get off his stool. The torch passes.

The only other way would be if the title is unified, which is what the damn thing (the unified lineal) should do anyway.

No mate that's not what a king does, it's what a **** does. A ruler of any kind has responsibilities, when they ignore them is when they get their power stripped from them and they become a peasant again - at best.

With the exception of Floyd Mayweather of course. You are a walking contradiction but I do agree with you though

If Wilder stays patient and use the jab more, he can knock Fury out. But, Fury's superb footwork, mobility, and elusiveness, if he got his legs back after almost 3yrs, makes it hard for Wilder to track his target. If it goes to the scorecards, big chance Fury gets the belt. I say, the less mobile-statuesque AJ is a far easier fight for Wilder.

Would you say the same thing if he was fighting AJ? I doubt it.
