Why would gbp need arum? Is ESPN not allowed to make deals with other promoters. Arum doesn’t run ESPN boxing

ESPN is pretty much becoming the home of Boxing. Let's see if DAZN can compete. If they get the Super Fly series to go with the WBSS I'd say they have the best content but ESPN is in more homes. If Canelo and GGG to to ESPN then about 9 or 10 of the world's top 12 p4p will be on ESPN and DAZN.

GGG to showtime is def not happening, WAY TO MUCH SMOKE on that network for GGG to join that stable, he literally would get retired by all the talent at 154/160.

ESPN is the far better choice for him, less talent, he can choose his opponents, he will make money, raise his profile, and add another 2 to 3 years onto his career.

Arum has a point here, its the perfect home for a washed up GGG.

Canelo meanwhile is the kingpin, he should now can roam free, Showtime/PBC would offer him the biggest possible fights, nobody else is close, and the Charlo mandatory at 160 would be the heck of the way to start the contract.

He could even fight Spence at a catchweight, and do a million buys easy.

From the article: "Top Rank has an exclusive content contract with ESPN and any promoter that wants bouts broadcast on ESPN must work with Top Rank in accordance with that agreement."

Yea I was too lazy to open the article. If Oscar has any self respect he won’t do it. Bob has called him ****** so many times lol. But luckily for him Oscar doesn’t respect himself

That kid has the chance to make $150M - $200M on a deal with Showtime or DAZN.

This is where we find out how smart/dumb Oscar really is.

If they went with ESPN, then Canelo would be losing out on significant guaranteed money.

DAZN has a 20M cap on cards. with them paying so much for the B list guys that they already have on the undercards they won't be able to afford Canelo unless he makes a lot less than they say he do.

Yes they need Arum because Top Rank contract with ESPN is exclusive.
