    im not sure if this is good or bad its bad cause they brought great boxing content inside and outside the ring but so many fights didnt happen because of hbo. gonna be interesting to see how it plays out

        They should be more open to working with other networks to make the big fights happen rather than making it so difficult. Also they weren't very loyal to their fighters. Plus the commentating was super biased in some fights it was pitiful at times.

            Not good! HBO was one of my favorite boxing shows. I guess the had no where to go since Canelo and HBO couldn't agree to come together.

                they are in a fight with Netflix. They don't care about sports content they ditched Inside the NFL years ago and have been slowly lowering the budget for live sports and boxing in particular. They want to be strictly in the movie and tv business. They putting all their money and resources into creating TV Content like Game Of Thrones to combat Netflix. Live sports is not important to them.

                  I agree with everything you say. A very good result of this is that it makes it easier for the big fights to happen. Also an effect should be that the purse bids for fights should decline due to decreased network competition.
