Depending on how much longer they have Canelo under contract, they'll be able to get some sort of TV deal, but it's tricky because Canelo doesn't fight on TV. He only fights on PPV. GBP has nobody that matters besides Canelo. So what network is going to pony up the cash for their stable when the only member of their stable anybody cares about is only going to fight on PPV?Comment

What does that has anything to do with it? if I remember correctly Canelo just re-signed with GBP 3 or 4 months ago. Since when being affiliated with a TV network prevents a fighter from signing with certain promoters? plus Canelo has always said that GBP has been great to them (him and his team) the hate is real in this site, a bunch of losers always wishing ill will on others.Comment

Its just incredibly strange that we have people who are fans of networks and promoters and managers, instead of fights, fighters, and boxing.
HBO is the most storied brand in boxing. They had great production value. They have been slowly stepping out of the industry for years.
That a brand that has been in boxing for 45 years is deciding to get out of the game isnt good for anyone.Comment

And that sir. is why I will never get HBO don't care for any of their ****** shows, boxing was the only thing that kept me coming back to them. Showtimes shows are just as crappy but oh well.Comment
