ive always questioned the same thing, also margarita, not saying they wouldn't have been tough fights but Floyd would beat them both, and if he did they would be bums all of a sudden

Why do people think Paul Williams had ANY chance against Floyd?

That’s why Floyd is hated, apart from his run from 130-140, he never fought someone exactly at the time people demanded him to. Whether it’s his fault or not is up for discussion.
But you can definitely see the trend. It’s not like he’s the B-side on anything. And as for working with Arum problem, suddenly after 5 years he had no problem doing it? Hmmm

He was so weight drained, yet the only fight where canelo threw more punches is the chavez jr fight.
canelo threw more punches in the floyd fight than he did against mosley, lara, cotto, angulo, golovkin
he was drained doe.
drained fighters throw less, not more.
oscar vs pacquiao is what drained looks like.
dawson vs ward is what drained looks like.
those fighters barely threw punches

That's a matter of record. Put into context, Paul Williams was the bogeyman at WW. He was told he would get a fight with Pacquiao, Floyd and Shane Mosely and all said no. BTW, this is all easily verifiable. Williams was forced to move up to middle weight to fight Martinez who was coming off a win against 160lb champ Kelly Pavlik.Last edited by j.razor; 09-28-2018, 07:50 AM.
