AJ is becoming the amir kahn of the HW division, with a much better chin!

The poisonous Americans are out in force again. The hypocrites had no problem when Wilder had the flue before the Ortiz fight, but with Joshua it's a no no. You insecure bitter little freaks. So hate filled and grotesque.

Povetkin had a superb performance and came to win the fight. Fans and Hearn were probably expecting a one sided affair but when the Russian showed up to fight I was impressed and Hearn was definitely shook for those first few rounds. Povetkin gave a good account of himself. Joshua looked too calm in there and a little flustered by Povetkin's quick and powerful approach. I though the first three rounds were easily Povetkin's with 4 and 5 being a little more competitive. Joshua started to figure out Povetkin in the sixth and his jab to the bodies eventually brought the head down by the 7th.

This wasn't a bad fight. And Joshua is a young professional that is still growing. With that being said no one should discredit Povetkin's game performance. He came to fight! Joshua came through and showed skill when he finally got Povetkin out of there. Not only that but Joshua has faced adversity a few times and he's come back and won. That should also show that he's world champion material.
If Joshua had the flu, then he had the flu. It isn't to discredit anybody.

When you get ill in fight week, I should imagine it's hard to call the whole thing off due to tickets and hotels being booked. So there's pressure there. It's just a good job it wasn't so sever that it really hampered Joshua. He did a good job, as did Povetkin.

Hopefully, Wilder's cherry pick of an innactive Fury will backfire and he'll be out of the picture. Ortiz shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Fury and Usyk.

I'm praying for Fury to shock everybody by beating Wilder and the officials in the US, then fight AJ in April, with the winner going against Usyk - who should beat Bellew - next.

Explain how mentioning Joshua having the flu takes away from a fight that isn't even happening until December?

Except that with AJ, it's no delusion - he really is The Man in his division right now.

Gypsy George Harris was blind in one eye and couldn't see too good out of the other.
