I can't think of any promoters who simply tell the truth, which is that their top guy is going to face adversity in the ring. Sensationalizing the fight due to Povetkin's good showing could have been a good idea, but Hearn, in flawless promoter fashion, just lied.

If that's whining, then you have to concede every one of your posts is whining also. Can't have it both ways.

For AJ to acknowledge he could lose is one of the best ways not to lose because it keeps him on his best at all times. Mike Tyson always thought he was indestructible and his arrogance cost him. AJ on the other hand has a very realistic approach and a better sense of himself. I also thought AJ was being honest and forthcoming in this article and was just detailing how camp went and that it was not the perfect camp and he described it with no BS at all and that is admirable.
He didn’t have the damn flu! IVE HAD H1N1 and can tell you, you are doing NOTHING if you have full blown flu except pissing out of your ass hole. GTFO here with this flu bull****. No boxer is fighting with full blown real deal flu. NONE. You literally feel like you’re truly dying and have no strength or energy.

Calm down drama queen. Where does it say he had H1N1!? Secondly, every person responds differently to different types of flu and it lasts for different lengths depending on age and health and recuperative abilities. History is full of boxers fighting with colds and flu during or just after being sick and the same with marathon runners. This is nothing new, son.

Each flu strain has a classification. Not every sickness is the “flu” people have a habit of stating they have the flu if feeling like ****. Unless tested with a q tip damn near touching your brain by a doctor then it isn’t flu just because someone says they had it. NOONE is fighting with the flu and I’d lay money on that
